Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with live music every day

Loved the location of this hotel! It was so easy walking around the main parts of Lisbon. Highly recommend!!

A little noisy at night. Breakfast not until 8 but many tours start at 7,30 or 8. However, we found out they would make a picknic breakfast if asked. Location is great. Walkable to everything.

Located in easy walking distance to the historic centre. Staff were wonderful and supportive when my wife became unwell (through no fault of the hotel)

Had an amazing stay at Solar Dos Poetas. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was amazing - the front desk and all staff were very helpful with recommendations, questions and really added to the experience! Highly recommend for staying in the perfect central location in Lisbon.

They changed my reservation to a room that doesn't have a separate bathroom but it is in the room itself. They knew that they couldn't fulfill my reservation the day before and instead of sendimg me a message and letting me decide whether I would like to stay, they changed my room. When I arrived at 8 o' clock tired from my trip there was no way to find a suitable hotel. I would have done this if they had communicated their intentions. I was told they thought it was a suitable exchange and it was a matter of taste. Well, i am not traveling alone and I don't want to be exposed or watch anyone taking a shower. There is a reason to choose a specific room through the options in Hotels.com.

Great place! I would definitely stay again! Only reason I gave a 4/5 was there is quite a bit of current construction happening in the actual hotel - but hopefully done soon.

The staff was wonderful....they even called one morning to check on us because we hadn't come down for our scheduled breakfast time, and they left one table set for us and waited until we came down to eat. The room was a good size compared to other Portugal hotels we stayed in, the location was very convenient to everything, and we had a great view of the Duoro! We would definitely stay there again!

Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the square! The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really exceptional. We drove so the underground parking located directly across the street under the square was helpful. The entrance was a little hard to find from google maps because there isn’t a big sign outside but it was perfectly located for walking to everything in the city we wanted to do. Definitely recommend this wonderful property to others & we enjoyed our stay!

Solar dos Poetas is in a great location. The service we received from everyone we dealt with was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. The room as very clean and comfortable. You’re on a very busy street so if you open your balcony doors it’s very loud but when it was bedtime we shut the doors and couldn’t hear anything. Rooms were very sound proof. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Solar dos Poetas. The front desk staff were absolutely fantastic and went well above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Perfect location, room was very tastefully furnished and offered views of the square, the water and the rooftops.

The breakfast was not good. We loved our room and the view, but the morning of our last day work started at 8 am, and we couldn’t sleep. Then, the last night the smell of paint permeated our room. We opened our window, and it was noisy.

Great location ..the tram stops right in front of hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with many options.

Each room in the hotel differs a lot in size and condition. The room we had originally booked was extremely small which was fine but had a damp / mould issue that had an unbearable smell. It looked like it had been previously painted over. Staff were lovely and changed us to a different room which was huge and much better. Beds / shower were good. Staff were very lovely. And breakfast was delicious. Excellent location and good soundproofing in the rooms.
