Worst place I've ever stayed. Pictures make it look great but was probably taken 20 years ago. Kitchen cupboard missing a door, toilet seat totally loose, floors all separating from water damage, bath leaking, mold on the ceiling, spiders and webs everywhere, bathroom door can't open from inside, entrance door stuck and handle bent from people pulling it hard. Not enough towels given, not enough forks. Soap dispensers all empty. Sofa dirty and too small for 4 people. Living carpet so dirty I had to roll it up and set aside. Bathroom carper totally soaked, I had to remove and hang outside to dry. Bed frames broken and mattress worn paper thin. Had to buy an expensive thick mattress topper just to be able to sleep. Mentioned the bed and mattress but got ignored. Garden and entrance hallway a total mess. Garden door hanging on just one hinge. Floors are paper thin as well resulting in upstairs neighbours waking us up with their walking around early in the morning. This people should not be doing this for a job. They don't care about anything else other than bringing in money

Stay With Empire, managed by Marika Slominska, was the worst booking experience we've ever had. We arrived with three children, fully paid, and were left outside—calls ignored, emails unanswered, and entry refused. I should have checked the bad reviews first. The place looks nice, but the management is terrible. Please avoid!

One of the worst experiences we ever had. AVOID! The flat is nothing like the pictures. It is a basement, full of mould. The entrance is totally wrecked and the service was despicable. We had to buy an expensive mattress topper due to mattress being totally flat. The flat was dirty and the people before us probably flooded the bathtub which led to the bedroom carpet being totally wet and mouldy. All the carpets were terribly dirty and there were not enough towels. All the linen and towels are in plastic bags on the floor😳 of the main entrance. The couch is not big enough for 4 people and it is so flat and sore to sit on. It's a shame that the house is in such a state, it would have had so much potential. Definately avoid

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! Do not be fooled by the pictures that are shown, the 'apartment' with a hot tub that was booked is nothing like the bedsit you will find yourself walking into. This was booked for 2 nights with 2 small children, we were greeted by a strong smell of cannabis upon opening the front door. The rooms were dirty, sick stains all over the floors. The table and chairs in the kitchen were covered in dog hair. We left straight away, it was not in any condition to be slept in. disgraceful!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Booked an apartment in Blackpool which included free parking and was told by 'Stay with Empire' that we would receive a door code at 4pm. Then literally an hour before, we received a text to say our apartment we picked, was out of service (no explanation as to why) and that we had been moved to another part of Blackpool. We asked them not to take any money from my account until we had viewed the alternate apartment they had chosen for us. However, we were in for a total shock!! The alternate apartment had nowhere to park, unless you payed £36 for 2 days in a multi storey. Then, as we walked towards the front door of this alternate appartment, it was abs filthy, dirty & stank heavily of drugs. We entered into a dark gloomy hallway, that had blankets/sheets folded (as though they were waiting to go onto the beds), literally all along the hall floor (not even on any shelves)!!! The stàirs to the apartment which we then found was in the attic, were steep and dangerous and we noticed there was no emergency fire escape, which is worrying and I will be informing Trading Standards and Blackpool Council of this. The jaccuzi was actually in the small living room right NEXT to the settee!! There was mold & damp on the ceiling, stains on the wall next to one of the beds and hairs on the bed, settee and jaccuzi. The pictures/images this company advertise, do not reflect reality. We tried several times to contact Marika who is the owner, who told us she couldnt ring us, as her phone wasnt working properly!! We told her we were not staying there and not to take any money and we then had to find last minute alternative accommodation. However, when I checked my bank account, they had just taken the money anyway and when I asked for a refund, Marika kept advising it had been sorted, but it hasn't been paid into my account, so I've now got my bank helping to see if they can retrieve it. How have Blackpool Council or Trading Standards not shut this company down, for misleading images, advertising and taking customers money!! Please, please dont stay with this company. We found beautiful alternate accomodation for only £20 more.
