Really good stay

I booked a "pet friendly" room & at check in was told there was an additional fee which was not noted ANYWAY prior to check in on the website. And I looked! The floors in our room were filthy (had to wash our feet before getting into bed it was so bad). Had a power outage in the middle of the night (not weather related) & never even got a response from front desk as to when it would be back on. It got very warm in our room, but was afraid to go outside to get to main lobby to check in person.

Staff was helpful and breakfast was good with a nice selection.

Rooma are not cleaned..Lot of dust on Floor, Exuast fan was not working. washing sink is not draining properly. Lot of bugs Overall the room is not good.

Overall this place is ok for a 1 night stay. Our door was open upon arrival and then we could close it. The door had swelled due to the heat, and had to be slammed, excessively hard, in order to close it properly. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Friendly staff

Front desk clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable-- top marks for him. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaints are that there were a few bugs in the bathroom-- who I rehomed outside-- the showerhead was poor (or maybe it was the water pressure) and I couldn't get the water above lukewarm one morning, and there was no shampoo in the holder. Overall, though, these are minor issues, and the stay was generally clean, comfortable, and lovely.

We had to move rooms as someone was sat outside playing music, but they moved us no problem. Bed linen was new but overall older decor. No complaints though. Can walk to the town which was great

Very worth for the money

I lost my watch, the hotel found it and gave it to me. It’s a very safe hotel. I’m impressed. Also, during my stay the room was very clean and receptionist was friendly.

Overall, the room was clean and organized. The fridge also worked well. The ground floor location of my room was perfect. Was able to park right outside my room, which made my trips to and from the vehicle quite easy. The front desk staff was accessible, friendly, and very efficient. From a breakfast standpoint, they offered hot (both regular & decaf) coffee before 6:00AM, which for me was perfect, as I had breakfast plans out on both of the mornings I was there. I love the location of this Baymont, as it is just across the street from the beautiful Front Royal Main Street Downtown district. The value and $cost/night I received fit perfectly into my budget. Would recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely plan on staying here again when I visit the area.

Room was easy to find and quiet. Staff were friendly.

The pictures for the continental breakfast are deceiving. It showed a waffle maker and a fancy setup. The only thing they had was apple juice in a pitcher, one flavor cheap yogurt, a few apples. Teeny tiny muffins that were poppy and coffee.

We did not have a good experience. It felt unsafe. The room beside if us the person had a chair out by the door drinking alcohol and tossing trash off the balcony. The breakfast was an absolute joke.. choice was apple or yogurt! Very run down.

The first night was good but the second night I had tried to shower and the water wouldn’t get hot.
