We loved our stay at Comfort Hotel Ishigaki. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the free breakfast was a great bonus. The location is convenient—between the main town and the airport—and they also offer free bicycles, which is a nice touch. That said, to explore the island properly, we recommend renting a car, as the distances can be quite long. The staff, especially one well travelled Japanese lady receptionist who spoke perfect English, kindly helped us organize a car rental, and we really appreciated her support. Overall, a great experience—we’d definitely come back and highly recommend it!
