We were at tge hotel the week before and enjoyed the atmosphere and the welcoming staff, wgen we arrived the front desk staff rememberd us and we were met with a smile and friendly conversation. Eua or Ewe was on reception and she was helpful the week before and this time as well. The foid eas excellent. The only thing i would suggest is real popadoms with the curry and a biscuit in the room yo go with the cuppa. We will he staying again soon and maybe nrxt time use the spa.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Parts of the room were looking a bit tired, and the radiator didn’t work very well, so on a night when it was -10 degs, the room was cold.

We booked a double room but were given a twin room, the duvet had severe stains over it, no bath towels only hand towels & no tea bags. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Only positive was the receptionist, very polite & helpful.

Stayed one night on 23/07/22. Good points: breakfast was good quality;International staff friendly and helpful;large double room. Bad points: the hotel is desperately in need of a makeover. Some public areas were very decrepit with peeling paper and damaged plaster. The dining area was very tired and a child's high chair, stored to one side, was frankly very dirty.I understand the need for hotels to try and recoup some of the revenue lost during Covid, but at £159 per night this simply wasn't worth it. BW Signature Collection? Really? I'm afraid that it's unlikely I will return.

Room is quite small but clean. No aircond. Hotel provided a fan that helps in a hot wave days. Breakfast is good, hot food and sufficient. We booked to stay here as there is a golf course attached, and it's quite handy. I won't stay for dinner though, average menu and services. Found couple local pubs nearby.

The ambiance was pleasing enough, nice location, spacious room and well laid out. Dissatisfied with no housekeeping services during our 2 night stay meaning our beds were not made, bathroom not cleaned, shortages on tea making facility, tissues and the like, bins not emptied etc. told to bag up our rubbish and dirty towels and place outside room. No plastic bags were provided. All of this by management under the guise of less face to face contact with staff. My money is good so should this basic service. Not acceptable otherwise a decent hotel let down by this.

Got an upgrade which was a welcome surprise. Room was clean, needs modernising but overall ok. Would have been nice to have more vegetarian or vegan options for breakfast. Traditional fry up was what you expected but would have been nice to have seen meat free alternative sausages.

Most agreeable staff all around but perhaps not quite enough of them certainly in housekeeping. Our room was in need of updates particularly the bathroom which had seen better days and needed some attention to the standard of cleaning. The rest of the room was absolutely fine it was quiet with comfy beds. The hotel is spacious and modern it's facilities are a plus, there's a nice bar and restaurant. I no longer play golf but it appears popular with those who do. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

When I go to bar hill always had the spa & swimming pool which enjoy but that was not open rooms are very dated staff was marvellous food as gone down it’s a shame always enjoyed my stay

The staff were wonderful but the condition of the rooms is very poor, I could only comment on the superior rooms but they were very dated and the shower/bath is a catastrophe. I hear they are going to modernize the hotel, I might try again after that but not until it is complete.

Quick, easy booking. Comfortable bed, good size tv. Disappointments: no hairdryer in the room. As this was a last minute booking, I didn’t pack my phone charger plug (had the car charger). I was hoping there would be a spare plug kept at Reception but there wasn’t. When I discovered there was no hairdryer the next morning, I went downstairs to reception room ask but there was no time to wait for one as I had to leave, so left with wet hair.

Very good service. The staff were very approachable and friendly. Giving you very good advice about getting to from Cambridge surrounding the area on public transport. Would recommend the hotel to people visiting Cambridge for price and service.

Conveniently located both for the motorway and Cambridge. Room large and comfortable and the hotel seemed to have lots of facilities: restaurant and bar although I didn't use either.
