This hotel is a wonderful oasis in the middle of Matera. Beautiful views of the countryside. Amazing staff from Reception to the Bar Staff. Katherine (sorry about the spelling) but she was on breakfast and the bar as well was simply amazing. We ordered 2 drinks one night and a Sommelier wheeled out a trolley with 2 glasses a bottle of red and a bottle of Prosecco. He gave us a taste of each and pour our glasses. We only ordered 2 glasses but it was an experience. Parking so easy on the premises and secure. The only thing is that the restaurant is amazing but if you are looking for something light there isn’t anything and not a lot in the area. Sassi is about a 20 min easy walk. We would go back to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious, clean, free non alcoholic drinks in the minibar, staff so helpful, nice spa area. A bit of a walk to the old town, but it was fine, and you can jump on a city bus for a euro or so to take you round the sights. My husband loved the breakfast. The fruit were lovely and ripe, and the pastries very short and crisp. Nice coffee, staff couldn’t do enough to help. Very convenient parking.

Wonderful hotel and the staff was beyond great.

Lovely hotel with large room and bathroom. Staff were amazing! They arranged a cake and bottle of wine for my birthday and booked a dinner reservation in the old town. Hotel would have been perfect except pool wasn’t ready to use during our 4 night stay. Will be ready in a few days by the looks. Saturday night there was an 18th birthday celebration at the hotel which was so loud until 1am!! Terrible noise even with ear plugs in.

We absolutely loved our time in this hotel. The staff were brilliant, the service was fantastic, our room was spacious and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfasts offered great choices each day and we dined in on our last night and were delighted with our meal. Will certainly stay here again if we revisit the wonderful city of Matera.

New hotel in old building 20 minute walk to old city but was easy free parking and quiet. Staff very accommodating

I had high hopes as this place had stellar ratings and they were fulfilled. Also perfect if you don’t like driving in small Italian lanes as the hotel is just at the entrance of matera. Highly recommended

Wonderful hotel in this trip. Five stars hotel with three star rate. Free on-site parking with lots of spaces. Close to railway decrease rating to the hotel. If you are a easy sleeping man, do not worry about this.

Great hotel, big rooms, great breakfast, amazing pool and spa, superb service.

Très bon séjour avec de belles prestations juste déçue de ne pas avoir eu l information que la piscine est fermée et que le train passe tout près en faisant vibrer les murs à la réception. Le Spa est très agréable et le mini bar compris dans le prix est agréable. Le personnel très agréable. 15 minutes à pieds du centre historique.

Non si può chiedere di meglio. Tutto perfetto, massima pulizia, cura dei dettagli, personale gentilissimo più che disponibile, ambienti interni ed esterni spaziosi puliti e super curati. Ci torniamo di sicuro!!

È stato un soggiorno impeccabile, la location è splendida e ha tutti i servizi e comfort che si possono desiderare, il personale è preparato e gentilissimo. Il plus è stata la presenza della stupenda piscina e della spa. Ci torneremo sicuramente!
