This is an older hotel but nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant attached was adequate. One night stay swapping planes. Would come back.

This is a great hotel that is situated pretty well in the area of Nuuk. It is very easy to walk to pretty much anywhere in Nuuk from the hotel, even if walking to the downtown area is uphill going and if you have any water tours, the hotel literally can't get any closer than this. The hotel was very nice, clean and I actually had a pretty large room. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet was well maintained and there were plenty of outlets and lights in the room. I never got around to visiting the attached dining room but talking to other guests, it was pretty good. The front desk staff was quite nice and were very helpful in helping me find a good restaurant and getting a taxi back to the airport when it was time to leave. I don't have any other experience in any other hotel in Nuuk, but I would definitely recommend this one.

Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay, it is a quiet and peaceful hotel, next to the harbour and a short walk to the city centre. I would highly recommend. Thank you for great experience - overall I loved Nuuk 💚

Very Clean

Couldn’t open the room window because smokers were just below my room outside the entrance. Room was reasonably clean but small, Probably wouldn’t stay at this Hotel again, Breakfast was the worst I ever had at a Hotel in any Country I visited. They don’t bother to cover the food, so you are guaranteed a cold breakfast consisting of mushy Scrambled eggs and not much more.If you like your eggs and bacon cold this is the place to go.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Incredible hotel in an incredible part of the world! We travelled to Nuuk for our honeymoon from the UK and couldn’t recommend Hotel Soma more. Staff were so helpful even before we arrived, informing us about late check-out options and taxis from the airport. Location is great - plenty of parking but also very walkable to the centre and the colonial harbour (uphill on the way). Breakfast was brilliant and our room was excellent too. We’d love to return one day!

Was a nice place, a bit out of the way but nothing is too far from anything else so that is fine. Would strongly advise not to take their airport transfer as it is silly expensive (300kr). Taxis are readily available from the airport for half the price.

This Hotel is a personal and quiet place to stay. It is a non-profit business that gives so much back to the community of Nuuk. The staff is excellent. Management makes you feel at home. Super great service

This was a very nice hotel . We had a great view if the harbour and it is an easy walk to the ferry and the tidewater steps where we had a tour booked . The included breakfast was good with eggs ,buns ,meat juices and coffee . Buffet style . Lots of tables and a nice view . We even got an earlier check in which was nice after a long flight . A very reasonable cafeteria only steps away toward the harbour.

Morgenmaden var god, men den åpne døra fra kjøkkenet førte til to forskjellige bakgrunnsmusikker og roping mellom personell i kjøkkenet som var veldig distraherende. Akustikken i rommet kunne sikkert vært bedre, men lukket dør hadde utvilsomt virket.

Ankomst helt fint - venlig personale. Værelset fint størrelse. men en rengøring ville gøre underværker - kunne ikke se ud af vinduet - beskidt. Panelerne lå der 1 cm støv på. Der blev kun udskiftet håndklæder - ingen rengøring i de 6 dage jeg var der eller skift af sengetøj. Deres emhætte i køkkenet ikke stærk nok - madlugt helt oppe på 1 sal på mit værelse. Maden i restaurationen var middel... synd at man kun kan bruge en frituregryde og ikke en pande.

Fantastiske senge i et rummeligt værelse. Venligt og imødekommende personale.

Hotel is pretty basic, but, at least for my single room, good value for money. Only hic, restaurant in weekends is on reservation-sold out only. Closer alternative is 1.2km away. Fri/sat, think to book in advance your restaurant!
