Spacious & clean room in a beautifully restored building. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast selection was adequate. Dined in the restaurant for dinner which was excellent. Only negative is the location, a bit far away from V&A waterfront & mall out the front of hotel felt a little unsafe at times.

They did not inform at all of their renovation when booking the hotel. Staff is nice, but also not a great area, really noisy, and rooms are really cold at night. Heating system is not working.

I stayed down the street for a bit during this trip. I was eager for a clean, comfortable room to end my stay. I needed a good night's rest before I took my flight home to the US. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast and dinner options were wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. My room was very clean with a great shower and a wonderful climate control system. I also enjoyed the wine options at the bar. The porters and desk staff were so helpful!

Really close to walking tours and places that are popular for food like KLOOF street & BREE street. The staff are so incredible.

We arrived on Sunday evening after long flight from Dubai, and staff were very welcoming. Hotel appeared a tad shabby-chic or tired not sure which. The room was comfortable and clean, but windows let in all sound of the city around us, so could hear people talking from about 4 am in the street outside. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful, food in the restaurant was great, but overall probably wouldn’t come back to it - predominantly down to the fact that the night time noise was a major factor.

The Old Bank was a bit of a disappointment unfortunately - the interior is very classy looking, the staff are very helpful and accomodating. However, had a deluxe room which was quite small, no view and missing simple items like toilettries etc. Inside the hotel, my main issue was that the elevators, waste water and even light switche were very loud. The immediate vicinity is also not very comfortable to walk around in the evening time.

Loved the stay at Old Bank hotel. ideal location to explore Cape Town. The room was tastefully decorated and the bar a lovely place to hang out.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! There is valet service if you need to park your car. Situated in the CBD, easy to walk around from there, next to the Company’s Garden.

Really beautiful hotel, great deal and great comfort. Near everything. Doormen and guard and reception staff were super nice. Hotel has everything you need. That ironing board was a bit dangerous so maybe get a new one ( fell twice while ironing but thats what you get for ironing on vacation :) ). Really just a hidden Gem in my opinion. If you're visiting the CBD areas , and want a bit of the nightlife... this is really up there in terms of value for service. Loved it :D. I spent most of the weekend out but it was relaxing stay for when i was there.Thanks for the stay

Stayed 20 minutes and left. Bad customer service. Broken amenities. No WiFi. No support from Desk

I would have given 5 stars, room and breakfast were good, service people were very helpful, the small gym is very clean. Unfortunately I found a big safety issue. I took by mistake an elevator which was meant to be used by staff people. It lead to an Emergency exit which was closed by chains! Emergency exits should always be easy to open. This is a big safety concern.
