Not sure why this hotel has such great reviews; it’s only okay. For the same price, I’ve stayed in better ones in Taichung during the same week. I decided to give it a try based on the high ratings, but it was a bit disappointing. Why I didn’t enjoy it as much: • The bed is uncomfortable and of cheap quality. • They don’t provide slippers, which is uncommon in Taiwan. • Breakfast is neither buffet-style nor of high café quality: they order a main course of your choice, but the drinks are low quality—not even milk is provided. I wouldn’t return, nor recommend it to others.

The area was quiet and safe. There are small cafes and restaurants around. Walking distance to the market and Taichung station. The hotel room was OK but quite small. Staff were helpful and nice.

A good experience

One of the best budget hotel stays we’ve had in the world! Super clean, nicely spacious room with everything you need (kettle, fridge, closets, good water pressure and heat, excellent AC) including nice big windows with darkening curtains, and a small couch for lounging. Breakfast is a la carte simple Taiwanese breakfast and delivered daily from a local restaurant. Various coffee and tea options available in a lovely lounge/cafe on the first floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and we loved that we could just tell them when we wanted the housekeeping. Wifi was pretty bad but that seems very common in Taiwan hotels so recommend you just rent a wifi puck from a local telco for the length of your stay. Bed was quite firm as others have mentioned, but we loved it. It was great for our back and hips after long days of walking and hiking.

An excellent budget hotel. Room is clean; staffs are polite; the price is good.

Hotel Huru House is centrally located with shops, restaurants and market nearby. The hotel room is small but clean and its amenities are in good condition. From the hotel you can reach the TRA train station in approximately 10 minutes. This is a good budget hotel.

We were positively surprised by the Deluxe Quadruple Room that we've booked, as it had two separate bedrooms and a small kitchenette. The breakfast was delivered every morning by a local breakfast shop. We would pre-order our Taiwanese-style breakfast every evening in advance and collect from the lobby in the morning. The location is near the central station and close to local markets and a park. We loved our stay at Huru House and would definitely recommend it to other families with children, who are looking for a simple and convenient accomodation in Taichung.

The room is spacey, for us it’s like a small studio. But the bed was quite hard for us

從2021年第一次來台中旅遊入住明通行商旅的體驗就一直都很滿意，後續的每一年只要來台中旅遊也都會選擇來住宿這家旅館，旅館的服務很好，房間整理的很乾淨舒適，有提供免費早餐，樓下還有一個公共舒適的用餐空間，旅館離台中火車站很近走路很方便抵達，附近還有第二市場和中華路夜市，走路去台中公園和一中街商圈也不遠，以這樣的住宿價格整體來說CP值非常高，很推薦的一家旅館👍

타이중 역에서 걸어서 10분정도 걸림 위치 좋고 주위에 아침밥 하는곳 있습니다 동동리 토후화 맛집 있음 침대 2개 붙여서 겁나큰데 딱딱한 매트리스림. 침구류 화장실 깨끗한 편 , 옷장 큰거 있는데 옷걸이는 2개밖에 없어서 불편 체크인 영어 잘하는분 한분계서서 문제없고 청소랑 아침먹을건지 체크도 잘해주심

冷房の設定温度を26度にするよう注意書きがあったり、冷蔵庫はスイッチを切ってあったり、環境に配慮がされていた。 古い建物だったが、綺麗にリニューアルされていた。 窓はあったが、眺めは無かった。 近くに行きたかったアイスクリームショップやパン屋があった。
