Room is clean, well maintained

My stay with my wife here was terrible. I booked a mountain view room and what we got was a mouldy back wall view on ground floor looking at their back alley. The check in experience was horrible as they send over a dysfunctional form that won't fill in. The bathroom had mould growth all over. There is no human to help you check in either, so please keep this in mind. I had to call them multiple times, they cut the call, it went to voicemail and I even had to reach out to hotels.com via the app. Finally when I got a hold of them they sent me the check in instructions. They say there is a grab and go breakfast, the only item that was available was the apple juice, that is also the sugary one. Overall it is not worth choosing this as Britannia was coming out cheaper and would not have been so much of a hassle. I will complaint to trading standards if hotels.com does not give me some sort of compensation

The cleaning staff is arrogant and irresponsible. It’s not good for business travellers

The building is a bit lived in but clean and well maintained. Self Check in was easy. Property located steps away from 15 minute bus ride to Old City. Will book again.

Super convenient location, just half a block up from where the bus lets you off, direct from the airport. Easy walk into downtown and access to lots of amenities. The building was secure and key pick up and drop off was without a hitch.

I feel like all the people that rated this low didnt realize what they booked or read into it at all. Undeserved 1 stars. Overall a fine experience l. Personally didnt mind a bit of traffic white noise for sleeping to personally but everyone is different. I had a top floor room and it was fairly comfortable.

It was a good stay with a daily freshly made yummy snack. Self check in but i had to call for check in details even after checking in Online

Easy stroll to a corner store where you can buy what ever you need. Room a decent size, with ensuite -basically functional toilet. The bathroom could benefit from a deep clean

We had a nice stay, the hotel is very well located and the structure is very pretty. The downside was that is quite cold, as the windows in our room were quite old and the heating had some problems. We contacted the structure and they solved the heating issue quite fast, which was nice. The staff had been very helpful throughout. I might suggest maybe to provide more options for breakfast, as there was not much choice if one can't have sweets or milk. Maybe some bread would have been nice or fruits. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there's room for improvement

Great place to stay!

I chose this place because of the photos on the official website and it didn't disappoint. The rooms were clean and presentable, there was a TV very well positioned in front of the bed, and an outdoor patio to get some fresh air. I only have two criticisms: there's no receptionist or manager to greet you; we only saw a maintenance worker who answered a few questions and that was it. The second criticism is the bathroom. Although very nice, it didn't have a vent; it trapped odors after use, and there was condensation after a hot shower. The price isn't bad at all considering its proximity to Hyadmarket station.

Lovely old building close to Haymarket Station. Only negative is no o site parking.

The beds are awful. It is like an air matress. You will sink and be uneven. It is an old house, it is musty smelling. It is very hands off. Only service was to replace towels and clean the wastebasket out. Ither than that, you were on your own. I did like having access to cups, dishes, etc when i needed them and the nespresso and water was nice. Loved that it was about a 10min walk to Haymarket. It was easy to get in with directions and to get my key

The customer service is non-existant, the room had left over leggings from the previous guests in the cuppboard, the common area barely had ustencils to use and the disgwasher rack was always full of dirty dishes, the fridges are dirty or full of ice. I had to explained to fellow guests how to use the front door twice, one of thwm hadn't been able to use the front door on his own for 3 days and he wasn't able to receive propper customer service either when he tried. This property has potential but you need at least a guest services manager on site from 9 to 5 or 10 to 6 to welcome guests, answer their questions, receive and keep their luggage and supervise the housekeeping staff.

Not too far to walk from Haymarket station and set back off the busy main road. Entry is via a system I had not previously encountered, so took me a while to become accustomed to it. A free 'grab and go' breakfast was included. A pleasant surpirse.
