Very helpful staff. Great breakfast to get your day started. I was impressed with this renovated old building located in the middle of Old Lisbon, close to metro, river front, restaurants. The metro station is just steps from the Hotel. Everything walkable.

A note for travelers is that there is no elevator so you have to lug your suitcase up flights of stairs to get to reception and then to your room! Otherwise the place was great for the price and the staff we very friendly.

We stayed here two nights before our cruise out of Lisbon. Location was perfect. Staff was very accommodating. The breakfast included was also perfect. We walked to the cruise port from here.

I will not be returning to this “hotel” ever again. When booking it was not public knowledge that the room that we chose was basically a college dorm style. This was not listed anywhere within the property details or room details. Once we arrived, we had to go up many many flights of stairs there is no elevator. Once I opened up the door there are multiple individual rooms with shared common spaces like the living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. I did not choose a hotel to share spaces with strangers and if this was listed I would have never booked. Very disappointed and this should definitely be public knowledge.

The location and breakfast were the main highlights for me. There are many subway stations close by and also buses, taxis, and bondes, all around Praça da Figueira. The view from my room was beautiful and I had a tiny balcony. Breakfast is a great continental style with fresh cut fruits, yogurt, different fresh pastries and bread, croissant, cakes, and cereal. Great variety! The shared bathroom was always available and super clean. I hadn’t had to wait not once to use it. It’s a great cost benefit!

This place was perfect right in the hub of the downtown of Lisbon, has a good amount of shared washrooms. Was never waiting, and every time was nice and clean, just a bit smelly but what can you do lol. Rooms were also clean with a small balcony which is always a nice bonus, we stayed on the town square side, and was a beautiful view! Breakfast was delicious everything I needed and more, simple but perfect has everything you could ask for not to mention it was included which is amazing. Only stayed the one night but was everything me and my partner needed, and the front desk staff are extremely friendly, gave us recommendations for places to eat, and when checking out let us keep are bags behind the desk so we could continue exploring without the hassle of lugging around are packs. Thank you again!

Great location and a good breakfast. Room comfortable but subpar. Not for anyone not in good physical shape. You will need to carry luggage up and down a minimum of 2 flights of stairs. Some staff friendly while others rude. We had a 6:30 am pickup to the airport and asked about availability of coffee since breakfast is not served until 7:30 am. We were pointed to a coin operated questionable source. Not sure why breakfast area with automated machine is not available earlier in the morning. Consider this a heads up - reviews that lead to our booking gave us a misrepresentation of the facility.

A little on the older side, and lots of stairs. 24 hours desk assistance and breakfast is the plus point.

We asked for a lower level room, and they were able to accommodate us. Great breakfast to get the day started. Right in the heart of old Lisbon, close to everything, easy access to Metro transportation, restaurants etc.

Positives were that the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was ok and the staff did their best to help. However, for a multi floor hotel, it’s dreadful that there isn’t an elevator. We had to cary two very heavy cases up six flights of stairs. The hotel is in the centre of Lisbon but the main entrance is in a back street, when we arrived there was a beggar in the entrance area trying to get money off us. There was also a bin store there with rubbish spilling onto the floor. Dreadful first impression. Whoever hands out star ratings for these places needs to have another look at this one, definitely not worth the money, we’ll never stay there again.
