Very nice place

Everything was great

Everything from arrival to departure was quick, easy and effortless. Was only there for 1 night, spur of the moment trip but would definitely go again. A little more luxurious than my usual, but for a quick getaway could not have a better experience or location for seeing Halifax!

We had an excellent experience during our stay. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and attentive. Valet parking service was also top-notch — very helpful with luggage and always ready to open doors and assist. The room itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view as well. We only stayed for one night, so we didn’t get to explore everything, but overall it left a great impression. If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be the bathroom layout. There were quite a few doors — one for the toilet, another for the shower, etc., all designed for dry-wet separation, which is good in theory, but in practice the number and direction of the doors felt a bit awkward and made the space slightly cramped. That aside, everything else was wonderful. The location is excellent — just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the waterfront. Very convenient, and highly recommended.

Check in was simple and enjoyable! Room had a lovely view over downtown where everything is within walking distance. Can't wait to return for a longer stay

Excellent place

Love everything about the quality this hotel offers. It’s outstanding details and consideration for their guests. Love the L’Occitaine products in the bathrooms and the high quality fixtures in the showers. Very comfortable bed and the sheets were amazing.

We loved our stay at Sutton Place! The room was very clean, the bathroom was lovely and the robes are extremely comfortable!!

The property was located within walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The staff was phenomenal if I could give them a six star I would. We had a minor issue with our room and they were prompt in addressing it and moved us. Definitely had a five star service feel to it. I would definitely stay there when visiting Halifax in the future.

This is a lovely property. Everyone who works here is helpful and kind and friendly. It's a great location - I could easily walk to great food, the waterfront and live music.

Our poor fixtures were in poor state. The room was not well cleaned before we arrived. Many items left behind
