The room was beautiful and clean. The hotel was in a perfect location for walking downtown to restaurants, bars, waterfront. Right across the street from citadel hill. The roof area was beautiful with a hot tub and fire pit. It closes at 9, too bad it wasn’t open a bit later. The valet parking was great but make sure you give them your ticket early just in case you have to wait for your car if it’s busy at the time. I would highly recommend this hotel.

No real Lobby. Otherwise it is a good hotel. Valets were professional and efficient. Same for the Front desk team. Centrally located, Harvest is great and liquor store right downstairs.

Great hotel, lovely room with great views. Desk staff were very accommodating and helped compare parking price options, as well as holding our luggage while we explored the city due to a later departing flight

The gentleman at valet was super helpful as was the young man at the check-in desk. It was wonderful to be able to order from Chop on our first night in. The suite is beautiful. We are looking forward to an exceptional stay!

Stayed one night in the Sutton Place. The hotel is located in downtown Halifax so that you can park the car and walk everywhere. Used the valet parking as it was very convenient. There is a Chop restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and dinner, and lots of room in the lobby to have a cocktail and people watch. The Halifax Convention Centre is across the driveway. Our room was comfortable and well appointed.

⭐️⭐️ — Mixed experience — hoping for some resolution I recently stayed here and, unfortunately, my experience was mixed. I had requested an early check-in ahead of time and was told my room would be ready shortly after 2 PM. After driving in from New Brunswick — while recovering from a concussion — rest was a priority for me. However, when I arrived, I was told my room was still not ready and it wasn’t available until after 3 PM. The elevators were another frustration — at times I waited up to 10 minutes just to get to my floor. The most disappointing part of my stay was the noise. On Friday night, there was a fight outside the hotel that continued late into the night and into the early morning hours. It was loud, disruptive, and made it nearly impossible to sleep. I understand that a hotel cannot always control outside disturbances, but given that they have security on and around the property, I would expect them to respond promptly and manage situations like this so guests can rest. Because of the disturbance, I barely got any rest that night, which left me feeling unwell and sick for most of Saturday — a day I had hoped to spend recovering and enjoying my time. Lastly, parking was confusing and overpriced. I had asked to add a guest to my room and was told he could simply pay at the machine, but the machine charged him significantly more than if I had added him directly to my reservation. Overall, I felt quite dissatisfied — especially given that this hotel is marketed as

The hotel was very clean & the staff was very helpful & friendly! I would definitely recommend it!!

Loved how central this property was to restaurants and shopping. Our room was very spacious and had beautiful modern finishes. We enjoyed being able to use the large outdoor patio with fire tables and the hot tub.

I like Occitane products and Nespresso coffee. Room is elegant.
