We had a truly wonderful experience at Casa do Arco. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Antonio and Guilherme, whose hospitality was exceptional and heartfelt. Our room was absolutely stunning, with an unbeatable view of the Douro Valley — waking up to that scenery felt like a dream. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged, making our stay both comfortable and luxurious. We shared a magical romantic moment here, one we’ll always remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beauty, peace, and genuine hospitality in the Douro region.

Beautiful property in the Douro region!!! It was the highlight of our two week trip in Portugal. Gi made our arrival warm and welcoming. The view from the living room as well as our room were both stunning. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Absolutely lovely accommodation with stunning views! Perfect for a quiet and cozy night out in the mountain with all amenities to make the stay comfortable. Definitely a must book just for the view alone. Room was well designed, furnished and cosy.

Wonderful staff and beautiful setting.

This was the highlight of our trip. We stayed in the Almond suite and it was gorgeous. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The space is beautiful, the bed was so Comfortable, very clean and quiet. You look out and are surrounded by vineyards. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant was closed the night we arrived (Sunday) but I wish we could have tasted the food here since the breakfast was amazing. The hosts helped us with dinner reservations and gave great suggestions for wineries to visit. 11/10 place to stay. Would highly reccomend!

We absolutely loved staying here. The views are amazing, and the rooms were lovely. We had dinner in their restaurant both nights of our stay and they were both wonderful (especially the veal). We highly recommend staying here.

Amazing experience. Beautiful, tiny hotel, owned and operated by a local couple. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel special. On a hill overlooking Pinhão with amazing views. Great restaurant.

Our stay was amazing! The house manager and owner makes sure that you are taken care of! From the moment we walked in to dinner to our room, everything felt detailed and customer to our needs. I definitely recommend staying here. The hotel itself is only a 6 minute drive from the restaurants and shops around the river, great location.

A little piece of paradise in the Douro Valley. The scenery in this area is incredible and the property takes full advantage of this. Beautiful furnishings, views from all rooms and service is excellent. Breakfast was a delight.

Hidden gem! We stayed in the Almond Suite for one night and had an incredible experience. The room and the entire property were so stylish, clean and photogenic. The views from the room at sunrise were worth waking up early for. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic, and we really appreciated the personalization and the hospitality of the staff. I would highly recommend staying here on a trip to Douro Valley.

Excellent property, amazing view, beautiful interior and exterior design, impeccably services, comfortable bed with premium bedding (the most important element for me to measure a hotel), and excellent meals! Wonderful place - quiet, tranquil and thoughtful service.

The best choice in Douro Valley. It was absolutely perfect.

Antonio (Tony) greeted our party (4 guests) with a smile and attended to our needs throughout our stay. The experience was unique and personalized. One couple stayed in the “Almond” room with spectacular views of the Douro River and valley. The room was extremely clean and allowed us to sit and admire the tranquil views and gorgeous sunrise. In addition, both couples enjoyed the outdoor sitting area to view the river while drinking wine from the collection of wines provided for an additional cost. Before dinner, the lounge room allowed us to further view out from the expansive picturesque window at dusk. The meals for breakfast and dinner were prepared well and delicious. The chef created meals to cater to various palates. Tony’s service was professional and helpful. Overall, the three bedroom house was clean, organized, and beautiful. A definite location to visit and experience. It was an exceptional and we highly recommend staying at Casa do Arco.

Tony was top-notch. Very helpful from beginning to end. Beautiful view, serene surroundings, and great food. We wished to have stayed at least one more night.
