Reserved 2 nights but their record only had us for one despite Expedia showing 2, then they said they had plenty of availability so not a problem to keep us for an extra night, then the next morning said they were fully booked and couldn't keep us in our room and moved us to a single bed room so I had to sleep on the pull out couch which was horribly uncomfortable and way too small, the shower in our original room had zero water pressure, it was like trying to shower by having someone spit on you. Then, on top of all that, I had to pay for the new room for the 2nd night even though I'd already paid Expedia for it and then file for a refund. Overall, total hassle, not great service from the front desk at check-in, and bad accommodations. It's not the worst but it's also not good enough to recommend either.

Hotel appears to be in newer condition. The flooring looks new. Bed linens were nice. Clean overall. Just a few random things that needed more attention, like behind the toilet and around the shower door. The only really bad thing that I can say is that the walls are very thin. If you are a light sleeper, consider somewhere else or all to be at the end of the hall. We were near the elevator and could hear people coming and going and talking just like they were in the room.

Friendly staff and very clean

When traveling from Minnesota: This will be my 4th stay here my daughter and her husband live in this city it's easier for me to stay at the Hampton Inn. I just love it here. The hotel is clean, quite, the entire staff is friendly and helpful from the front desk, to the bar tenders, to the dinning staff a big shout out to Marie in the dinning area the house keepers are also very friendly and helpful as well. My daughter always says Mom why don't you try another hotel why would I. I know the layout of the hotel, the shopping , the area and it's a safe neighborhood North Port Hampton Inn is the best..

Incredibly clean and well designed

Staff (front desk and breakfast) was great. I’ve always loved comfortable beds and bedding at Hampton Inns so is always my preferred hotel, but this location’s mattresses were hard as rock. Made our extended stay quite uncomfortable. Multiple pillows options was great, spacious bathroom was nice (but really low toilet, which is difficult for seniors), room was clean. Wish there would have been a 2nd chair, so being confined to sitting in bed wasn’t great.
