The restaurant did not cater well to vegetarian or vegan foods in the breakfast buffet. When asked they did give some vegan potato fry. But overall choices were very poor for vegan. When we ordered lunch on the day we arrived, the cook did make some excellent vegan food for us, but the portions were way too small for the price. It was not even good for one, for the price of the dish. On the second day, one of the staff in the restaurant Juan behaved very badly. When we went to the restaurant for breakfast, he did not even acknowledge and was sitting at a table attending to private business. And then when asked he did get up reluctantly and responded to the query. I requested him to fill up our water bottle at the bar and he reluctantly did it. After breakfast, when I asked him to fill the second water bottle, he simply refused and asked us to go to the floor below and fill it ourselves and he said that in a very disrespectful manner. People like Juan have no place in the hospitality industry and he should be fired or censured seriously. The front desk was very good, friendly and courteous

Good location and conveniences

Depending on traffic the property can be up to an hour by taxi from Lima airport. Area is safe and about a 10 minute walk from the Miraflores cliff edge / beach with supermarkets and other amenities much nearer. Rooms are fairly small and only the toilet cubical is private - shower and sink are part of the room. Some of the higher floors in certain directions have city views and the windows can be opened. Everything was reasonably new, the airconditioning was effective, the wifi was reasonably quick and there was plenty of lighting. No tea or coffee making in the rooms. Found it quite easy to knock the phone off the wall and you could hear neighbours. No other issues and if you were in the room room cleaning waited till the end of their working day to ask if you wanted service. Luggage is stored behind the receiption desk with tags and a restaurant and street caffee were available within the property. Taxis back to the airport are more expensive than the fixed fare from the airport, but checkin / checkout quick and effective. Overall a reasonable modern property in the more up market part of town within walking distance of the beach and a few minutes by taxi from the bus station where most tours into the Peruvian interior start / end from.
