The room was pleasant, clean, and spacious for two. Numerous bus stops are nearby, making it easy to get anywhere by bus. If you're hungry, just cross the street in front of the hotel to Raffles City Shopping Center, which has many cafes and restaurants. There's also Chijmes if you prefer a Western cafe atmosphere.

Good location. Right by great restaurants and easy access to Marina Bay but also the fort and the river. Staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean. Would book again.

Strategic location, close to City Hall and Bras Basah MRT. Close to the bus station, which leads directly to the airport. Clean and spacious rooms, and very friendly staff.

Easy access to tourist attractions. It's very convenient whether you're on foot or using public transportation.

We had a mixed stay at the Carlton Hotel Singapore. Unfortunately, the biggest issue occurred around 10:00 pm when staff began cleaning the room directly opposite ours. The noise from the cleaning itself was quite loud, but the staff were also talking very loudly to each other, which was incredibly disruptive late at night. Additionally, we found the breakfast to be just "so-so." There was a noticeable lack of variety, and it didn't quite live up to the expectations of a hotel of this caliber. Hopefully, management can look into better scheduling for housekeeping and a more diverse morning menu.

Overall a good stay, location was perfect, and calls from the room to reception, etc., were answered almost immediately every time, unlike most big chain hotels I stay in every month or so. I stay in suites across all big chains, so I can't comment on room size, though it had a desk, a nice sit-out overlooking the Marina Bay Sands, and a single-seater couch. My experience overall was good.

Though Carlton Hotel is not a new hotel in town, apparently they just had their rooms renovated and it is very clean, a/c very cold which is good, and no unpleasant odor. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a recommended hotel to stay in, value for money. Will surely come back again to stay at Carlton on our next trip to Singapore.

We stayed here to attend the Singapore Marathon and a symposium at Suntec City. The hotel's location is very strategic for reaching both places and is close to Raffles City. The room was very nice, but they didn't provide purified drinking water, only two bottles of mineral water. The toilet didn't have a bidet, so it was difficult for Indonesians. The breakfast options were not extensive for a 5-star hotel.

Nice hotel, close to eateries, close to Bugis Street, very easy and close access to public transportation.
