Long wait at reception only one staff member on for the whole hotel so frustrating having to wait a long time before anyone arrives to check you in

The parking is a bit of a pain - make sure you read all of the information before you arrive as it’s a bit of a faff

The accommodation was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I found was that the room service app didn’t seem to work and we weren’t able to order any food to the room. Given the heat when we stayed we didn’t really want to go out to eat but that’s what we ended up having to do.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Aircon worked well and was easy to change. Small point that the sink had no plug but when mentioned, one was brought to the room. Used the in-room phone to order food. Server was great and food quality was ok for the price paid, but service to the room was slow. Overall, a brilliant stay in a the right location for what we needed at a cheap price. Will definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was close to the town centre (5 min drive) which had nice restaurants. The staff offered complimentary cookies on arrival, and the check in process was easy. I would say it's reasonably priced and the room was quite spacious, the shower was actually so relaxing! Will be staying here again soon!

Excellent facility, but a bit weird not having access to stairs, being forced to use lifts… ?? £10 parking to use hotel car park ffs, talk about sales prevention policy. Overall a little disappointed.

Restaurants within the hotel were no longer in use so food, both evening meals were served in the connected Anecdote Sports Bar. Very poor quality food and not the comfort of a restaurant you would normally associate with a Doubletree hotel

Good for an overnight stop over. Stayed here four years ago. The breakfast and staff have gone downhill since then. Booked a deluxe room with two queen beds which was very spacious. But the bathroom and shower were tiny which spoilt the experience a bit. Unfortunately they moved the breakfast from the lovely Faraday restaurant to the bar which is a huge downgrade. It's a good venue for a drink but not for a morning meal. The buffet choice was limited and the food was low in quality and cheap. The coffee machine was very old and cheap. The staff were all young and some were disinterested and not very knowledgeable

The hotel itself and the staff was great. The surrounding area was a little on the sketchy side. Fine for a one night stay during travels or an event at the arena, but would chose a different location if going to stay longer in the area.

Rooms and public areas are tired. Only stayed for work conference, wouldn’t by choice. Would expect more from a Hilton

We had a family double room and it was huge! Like a suite, with a giant 60 inch tv and a nice sofa in front of it to watch it on. My one piece of feedback is that the bathrooms need a refresh. Clean and working, just dated. Breakfast was also superb and a perfect location for our trips to the Belfry and Drayton Manor.
