Location had a great view, about 35mins drive from Edinburgh waverly station. One less star because we found bugs in the toilet. Also, the toilet rolls/papers were poor quality which left us feeling uncomfortable to use. Make sure to get water bottles for your stay, because there’s none in the hotel. Breakfast buffet had limited options overall (less diverse). Bed was very comfortable. Overall a good stay and will definitely come back.

Nice room and bathroom but the soundproofing didn’t prevent the noise from loud doors banging

After 11 nights of "roughing it" in 5 other hotels around Scotland, we fell in love with the Doubletree. All of the basic/important things were top notch, and there were many nice touches, including indirect lighting and an abundance of electrical outlets. The staff was terrific, with three different onsite restaurant employees helping us with a chaotic and very late room service order

Very happy with my stay. The location was brilliant for where I need to be during my business stay. Room was spacious and clean and dinner/breakfast was a very good quality and provided in a timely fashion. Views from the hotel definitely added to the stay and who doesn't want a welcome cookie! IF I had to be critical of anything, I didn't get on with the pillows provided but I appreciate we are all different!

Nice clean room. View of both road bridges from our window. Room was made up next day without having to request it. The restaurant menu had a good selection & the views were amazing. Bus stop outside for trips into Edinburgh (frequent service) or towns round about. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Our room was clean but it was cold. We couldn’t work out how to use the aircon/heating. It was a pleasant change to find a bath and not just a shower. Went through to the lounge for a light snack. The supervisor was great. It was really busy but he was very accommodating. Overall the staff were lovely - checking in and at breakfast. Would stay here again.

The room had a beautiful view of the forth road bridge. It was spacious and immaculately clean with a super comfy bed with great pillows.

Room absolutely fine, clean, comfy bed linen and as expected for a Hilton. A good buffet breakfast with a wide variety. Restaurant/bar service is friendly but a bit odd in places For example: - why would you place a full hot cup of coffee right at the very edge of a table? - Cheeseboard for dessert served very cold

The bed and pillows as always really good. However the seal was damaged at window and as it was windy the curtains were blowing and the room was cold. We were ok once we turned up the heating. Also the ironing board cover was old and damaged so it wouldn't stay on iron. That said I did appreciate actually having an iron. As always the breakfast was lovely. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel, with great views of the Forth bridges, a great restaurant with decent food and the same great views. Small bar area, with tiny screen, not good for watching sports, nothing in North Queensferry
