Our room 106 was very tiny but it was clean and a nice shower Excellent service by the pool . Food and drinks were good . When we arrived parking was a nightmare . The lot is shared with the public and there was no accessible parking for my husband. Spots for patrons should be saved closest to the hotel .

What an amazing stay

We loved our stay here! The hotel is extremely clean, the staff were courteous and very friendly. The pool and outdoor seating areas were comfortable and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and updated. Lots of parking available. Pool area was nice with lots of chairs. Location is a very convenient walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming from the beginning.The space in the room was exactly what we needed for our little get-away. The new pool and outdoor lounge were nice additions, and made It feel like a resort. We would definitely return.

I think you will be disappointed if you stay anywhere else but here! You have the convenience of the beach down the main strip or you have a beautiful pool side to lounge by. The rooms are spacious and well planned out. Coffee and cold water available 24/7 for free in the lobby. The only recommendation I have to be a total win would be a little market or vending machine with munchies, pop, chocolate/candy to purchase. This isn’t a big deal to those not on family vacation, but as a family with small kids, your evenings sometimes include a movie or board game before bed and would be convenient to grab a treat and snacks from there. Additionally, a small tray of muffins or small baked good to be available with the coffee in the mornings would go a long way! Partner with a local baker possibly. Otherwise 10/10!!!

Excellent stay

The colonial has beautiful and well kept grounds and lovely staff working there. The new pool area is awesome and again all the staff were so friendly and attentive. We were however very disappointed with our room location. Most rooms had chairs out front to lounge or glass doors opening to the outside. We were in a room (231) that felt like we were in a basement. It had one small window that looked out to a brick wall. It was disappointing. This was a planned mother and daughters weekend getaway that was expensive and we felt we deserved a room that reflected the price and that we booked 4 months in advance. We also did not have house keeping come. There were new towels but nothing else was cleaned up. Not a huge deal but again not what we expected.

This hotel was AMAZING . All staff friendly and inviting , bed linens were perfect . Pool clean , bar and food perfect . Location perfect . All I can say is WOW , good job, perfect hotel !!!

The hotel is beautifully designed and in a perfect location, modern, vibrant, and super convenient. The room was great, and the overall vibe was fun, but the music was a bit too loud at times, even in our room and by the pool, where it made it hard to relax or chat. Check-in felt a little unorganized, and although we had a confirmed late checkout, we had to explain it more than once. That said, the staff who helped us in the end were kind, and I’d definitely come back — just bringing earplugs and sound machine to drown out the music next time!

Check in was quick and smooth, room was clean and very nice. Great Caesar at the new cabana pool and Lounge!

It was a beautiful stay , we were bummed it was to cold to swim and enjoy the patio vibes. Only issue i had was the poor workmanship on the drywall around 1 light in ceiling. Room 138. Spend all that money and leave that was kinda strange

A luxury property in the heart of Grand Bend. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The amenities like the pool and pool bar were amazing.

We had a great stay. Cathy checked us in and was amazing.
