Outdoor parking, but close by.

Cool little hotel along the river in Golden. Right in the heart of downtown with several places to eat within steps of the hotel. Rooms all face the river and boardwalk which is nice. Self check-in is handy as room keys are in lockboxes on your door (they send you a code for the lockbox). I will stay here every time from now on. Room was spacious and recently renovated. Nice bathroom, a real working bar fridge. Patio for each room. Cool place and a little gem.

Small hitel (5 rooms) but extremely clean and well maintained and right along the river with a nice patio. A must !!!

In our 1-month trip driving from Victoria and around many interesting places on Vancouver Island, then to Vancouver and through older highways from Whistler to Calgary, we stayed at numerous establishments from lesser known ones to some luxurious Marriot hotels. Of all of them Rooms at Riveredge (RaR) was our favourite. The room was very clean (a pet peeve of mine). All amenities were modern and recent. Furniture was not worn. Bed was comfortable. The little patio at the back was great. The patio is not isolated as it is set on a public walk (the Rotary trail) that follows the Kicking Horse River. You are only a few meters from the river and the view from the patio is really nice and the trail is a great way to visit. There are many nearby shops and restaurants. There is one thing to know and that surprised us: this was a last minute booking for us so we didn't have all the information when we got there. There is no office at the location which only has 5 rooms. It shares management and staffing with the Lodge + Lantern which apparently is also a very nice place to stay (from my experience at RaR, I have no doubt). When we arrived at RaR, puzzled to not find a clerk, I called and someone quickly drove over to set us up. Normally I would have had all the required info in an email. Everyone from cleaning staff to desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend RaR if you visit Golden... there is even a boot/shoe dryer available in the room :-) .

I will happily be choosing this property over any other chain in Golden, its location along the river is perfect. I was hopeful it would be cute but was very surprised by how nice it actually was, there were many features i haven’t had in hotels before, it was both cozy and extremely clean. Will be returning 100%

Massive rooms that were spotless. Great location with easy walking access to plenty of restaurants and a great bakery next door. I would recommend this hotel!

It was a return trip and we love it! But we found the check in system a little difficult as we had no roaming data. We also found some of the hi tech facilities a little baffling! The WiFi was also a little erratic. But overall a great place!

Clean and comfortable with lots of nice touches. We loved the location. Bakery next door for breakfast and plenty of restaurants easy walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I was very impressed with Rooms at Riveredge. The rooms are very spacious and modern. Very clean. I travel a lot for work and vacation and this is one of the best values I have found. Highly recommend.

Clean and quiet Rooms. Helpful staff.

We loved our stay - for the price we were a bit concerned but all the Expedia reviews were positive so we booked a stay! The room was large and immaculate with too many “extra” touches to list. The river and walkway are right outside the back door and yummy restaurants a stones throw away. Would definitely stay again
