Clean updated and affordable in a good area for restaurants and shopping

Great stay. Everything was clean. Service was prompt. Breakfast was really good. Loved the hotel ambiance and staff was very friendly. Stayed due to proximity to Carowinds and will definitely book again.

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very up to date. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The room was only partially cleaned on the second day of my 3 day stay.

Staff was very efficient and it was obvious the place was well managed.

Was a great stay, lobby and room was clean, staff was friendly. Porshe was very accommodating and personable, probably one the best hostesses I've encountered. If I'm ever in the area again will definitely stay there.

This property looked so great based on last reviews, but we were fairly disappointed with our stay. There were some things smears on the walls, there was a very bright street light pointed right at our window and the blinds did not fully cover it which made it incredibly hard to sleep, the beds were a bit hard, and when we left the one day, we put our “do not disturb” magnet up outside- but they came in anyway. The breakfast was pretty good and staff were friendly, but I think it’s safe to say we will not be staying at another Avid hotel.

Great staff, beautiful room, very good breakfast( eggs, bacon and potatoes). All in all, very relaxing stay. Very near to Carowinds!!
