This is our first time in Columbia and we wanted to stay in downtown. Nice area, a bit far from downtown area - but that is ok since we got there late. Common hot breakfast selection - nothing fancy. Room was clean and comfortable. Good costumer service.

Hate that you have to pay for parking and then have to park on the street across from the hotel. They shouldn’t charge for parking if I can’t park on the property

Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Only slight negative was parking. Not enough parking for all patrons.

Room 122 was not clean when assigned. The evaluators didn’t work. I had to walk down 5 flights of steps in order to checkout.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Walkable to downtown and the Vista. Our new go to hotel when we visit University of South Carolina.

Having stayed at HIE S over the years, we have expectations as we are paying $300 a night. 1. Our room after the first night of three, was never cleaned, e.g., night 2 beds were made 2. Night 3 room was never visited; everything exactly as we left in morning. Especially annoying in that we were driving an hour each way to attend Masters Tournament 3. Spoke w/ front desk, never heard from manager. Some promise of points to be added to our account—none yet 4. Staff interacted w/ polite

Myself and my 12 year old son enjoyed how clean and comfy our room was. Great view!! The staff were super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Would def recommend this place. One thing, parking was tight.

Charles was very friendly and pleasant at check in. Made sure we had everything we needed.
