My overall stay was okay. We stayed for 5 nights in a 2-bed, 2-bath, for a family of 4, which was convenient. Staff was super friendly, thorough, and helpful. We did not order housekeeping, but meeting them on the floor, they were very helpful to provide us with necessities. However, there were also some downsides during our stay. A faucet in one of the bathrooms was leaking water, causing overflow in the counter area and drippings on the floor. We often had to keep a towel to keep the area dry and clean. The washer was in the unit, but detergent had to be purchased at reception. Kitchenware was provided, but there was no soap or sponge to keep them clean. We also could not find any trash bags in the unit. We paid out of pocket to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant on the 28th floor, but unfortunately, I spotted a cockroach crawling on the hot food counter. I didn’t inform the staff since it was too early in the morning, but that definitely raises a sanitary concern. The location was great, close to a big local market, in which we found enjoyable and cultural, given that it was our first time visiting BKK.
