This is a beautiful hotel. There are some things they potential customer needs to know. The hotel looks huge but it’s deceptive. There are only 30 rooms available for rent on the bottom two floors of the large building. We booked a room with the patio thinking that this would guarantee us a good view. Much to our surprise, our patio opened onto the outdoor seating area of the casual bar/restaurant.This hardly felt like a private experience when we were on the patio at dinner time. Next-door to us there was someone who booked the room as a single guest but unknown to the hotel her family with four children under 5 were visiting. Needless to say as children do they ran back-and-forth across the area in front of our room. When we complained about this, and the staff graciously moved us to a quieter area, but not until the following day. The new room was also a ground floor patio room with a nice view of the garden and a peekaboo view of the ocean. The restaurant at the hotel had a wonderful breakfast buffet every day and was actually a good place to eat for dinner as well. The staff were all professional and friendly. The caution I would have is to check the location of your patio. On the ground floor half of the patio rooms face the outdoor seating area of the bar!
