Nice room.

Found the check in staff somewhat unfriendly. The supplies in the room were minimal

Check in is easy at this hotel but be aware it’s at a property a couple doors down from this hotels entrance. Breakfast was included using a coupon that was good for a simple hot breakfast at the restaurant between the two properties. The building is older (of course) so it has its quirks. The floors are uneven so be careful. There is no elevator and four floors so you will have to haul up your luggage unless you have a helpful person to do so for you. The room was clean but worn. There is evidence of lack of maintenance in the tiny bathroom but the A/C was good and the beds were comfortable. The WiFi is iffy at best and will drop constantly. You cannot beat the location so just based on that, I will recommend it if you are ok with a little quirks and can climb stairs.

Room looked like the clean-up was half-done. Wine glasses dirty. Glass stains on night stands. There was sand between the bed sheet and the mattress (!!!!). Hair dryer so worn out (melted parts) it was overheating and looked dangerous. Not going back to this place. Not at this price.

Very comfortable beds. The stone walls, windows, woodwork added to a romantic ambience. The staff was bery helpful and quick checkin. The food at the restaurant fro breakfast was outstanding!

The location is great. The rooms are way smaller than what the picture showed. The building is very old and not well maintained. The bed was comfy but I always had to walk around it to get anywhere in the room. My comforter had pen ink stains all over it. The hallway carpets aren't very clean. My room was on the fourth floor so I had to climb up a bunch of stairs as there are no elevators. There was a giant red bucket in the corner to collect water that was leaking in the staircase.

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the staff was helpful. Location was excellent. The checkin was confusing. The rooms were small and the showers were challenging for someone tall. Also we had problems with volume on the tv as we were trying to watch World Cup games with no audio. Elevator is needed.

Hotel is old Quebec City, very basic but clean and is an excellent location. Again, old bldg, so no elevator and lots of stairs.

Nous n’avons pas prit cette réservation que nous avons payé.La personne qui nous a reçu n’a pas voulu changer l’étage de notre réservation.Nous sommes deux personnes de 74 et 77 ans.On nous avait pas informé qu’il n’y avait pas d’ascenseur à aucun moment de notre réservation et qui était déjà payé par Expédia .Nous informé qu’il n’y a pas de stationnement disponible c’est bien mais nous informé qu’il y’a absence d’ascenseur et nous mettre au quatrième étage c’est inhumain.Je demande svp votre intervention pour un remboursement de notre séjour .non utilisé.Votre préposé n’a rien voulu faire et encore moins nous remboursé.Je crois qu’elle n’avait peut être pas cette liberté mais peut être la liberté d’accommoder aurait été apprécié .

The room was okay. It was clean. The bed was comfortable and the room had a refrigerator and a coffee making machine which was very handy. The TV only had sound on when the radio was played. In four days the room was cleaned once. The breakfast is great and the Sagamite restaurant is worth dining at least once. The hotel is very central for those who choose to walk. The only problem is when we came back from sightseeing we had to climb a one and a half flight of stairs to the room. The entrance is shabby could improve with a little TLC.

I would not stay at this hotel again. Quirky check in, friendly girl.. but in entering it was dark and dingy.. very dated. The room set up was ok, very dated, meant to be charming but furniture all scratched, worn out.. electric plugs random on floor.. ceiling had visible water damage - no water bottles, hand towels or face cloths.. milk and a beer were left in frig from previous guest.. comfortable bed, but overall old and dated throughout. Not a clean feeling..

Yes the room was a little old and tired, yes the room was up three flights of stairs with no elevator, but the bed was clean and comfortable, the amenities good, the location fantastic and included breakfast great. Excellent value for the price paid.

The place is at a very convenient location: walking 2 minutes to city visit center and waterfront. The checking lady is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Only problem is no elevator. If you have large luggage you will have to drag them to upstairs.

Location was really good. plenty of options for eating out. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful.

Great location with free breakfast.

The room itself was clean. The bathroom was clean. There were lots of complimentary toiletries and lots of Keurig coffee pods. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. It was a full breakfast with lots of choice. The carpets & flooring in the entry, stairwell and hallways really needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. It gives a poor impression. However the room was nice and comfortable.

Unbeatable location but the room had few issues. Bathroom door wasn’t closing (barn door hinge was hanging out broken). A/C/heating unit wasn’t working. Spotty wi-fi. We also did not get the room that was advertised on Expiedia’s picture. Breakfast place was short staffed and the wait was very long - we had to skip it.
