Beautiful hotel and walking distances to many attractions in the city. Staff did the minimum for room cleaning and didn’t restock fridge. Also, employees seemed put out when you asked for anything.

Absolutely LOVE this hotel. The vibe was immaculate, service, bar, breakfast… everything is just perfect!

It’s a beautiful hotel. Very convenient to all the streets of Charleston. I noticed our room had not been vacuumed on my side of the bed but when I spoke with the house keeping manager she said we vacuum ALL rooms and I said well I don’t have a pet 💩or have been eating sunflower seeds. She repeated the we vacuum so I said forget it and didn’t bother to let them correct the problem.

Thank you for an amazing stay at Palmetto! It was such a beautiful boutique hotel. We loved it! It have such southern charm and vibes. Loved the decor inside, especially the chandelier! There was a bar with a super awesome bartender who served great drinks! We got checked in and our room was lovely and spacious. Bathrooms were huge and the shower was perfect! Bed was super comfortable! In the morning we had fresh juice and drinks and although we only stayed one night we absolutely loved it. It’s also in a perfect location so close to everything !

It was a nice hotel carpet needed to be cleaned for the price we paid. But overall a nice hotel.

Growing tired looking; carpets dirty, lobby furniture worn and stained, etc.

It’s ok. Could use a deep clean and our room had a view of a roof but it was in a great location. Power went out for about two hours one night we were there; that was interesting. Room small, no luggage cradle, no iron, but they had a steamer. Hair dryer terrible/cheap, they should upgrade those. Shower area was ok, but the shower head not practical, low water pressure. Bed was not good, too soft, caved in in the center. Terrible pillows. For the price I don’t think I’d stay here again and will try another place.

Location, quality and charming.

This place was perfect! From the valet, to the check in, room and bar. You could walk to so many things. We were able to sightsee, eat, shop and rest in the most comfortable bed ever! Top notch staff. Will book again!

We loved the location and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely come stay at the Palmetto again!

The hotel was a lovely boutique style and comfortable. The location was very central. The continental breakfast was ok, but expected a little better considering the cost and the coffee was awful. We ended up going next door for coffee most mornings. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming but not all
