Well appointed.

I was visiting Vienna for a wedding and this location was close to the wedding venue. I had no issues and the staff was very accommodating. However, I was not pleased with the breakfast options, which was next door or the pastry shop that was next to it either. It seemed very crowed and the choices were limited. So, the second day we actually ventured out to have a complete breakfast.

The area is safe and quiet. It is located near Academic institutes. The room is well sized for big luggage. Basic amenities like bottled water, showering gels, towels, kettle were provided. Washing machine and dryer are available at the basement level. Staff was very friendly and helpful! There is a small dining area at the lobby and they served free drinks and croissant.

Quick and regular tram to the centre. Easy check in. Spacious room. Lack of plates etc even though rooms come with a fridge , microwave and dishwasher!

Service at reception very slow.

It was amazing overall! The only thing is the bed is very stiff, everything else was wonderful and super clean!

It was Great but we pay for one night stay that we were not check in yet.

Underground paid parking on site was a plus. The room was nice and had a mini kitchen with cooktop but no pots or dishes other than basic plates and cutlery. Great restaurants close by and grocery stores. Walkable to historic city center , about 40 minutes or close to tram if desired. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if ever in Vienna.

Pros: Comfortable bed | Power / USB sockets were in the right places | Bluetooth speaker / table! | Kitchen including benchtop space | Big room | Soothing bathroom design with rainforest wallpaper and rain shower | Washers and dryers (3 EUR per wash / dry) downstairs came in very handy | Free coffee from machines on ground floor 7am-4pm | 5min walk from tram stop 15min away from Wien Hauptbahnhof Cons: Reception not being 24/7 (finishes at midnight though there is an emergency phone number) | Felt too quiet / remote from the action (e.g. shops) and not as safe at night, being in the back streets near university campus| St Marx train station not well serviced (trains every 30 min and not directly connected to Wien Hauptbahnhof)

I stayed at Rioca with my daughter and boyfriend.We had two separate rooms.Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived at Rioca.Welcoming staff ,a beautiful hotel and perfect rooms.We had all we needed .A comfy bed ,great bathroom and a little kitchen area with all necessary bits and bobs.We will definitely stay at Rioca again !

Helpful staff. Large room.

Nice bathroom. Decent mattress. But all the other furniture was uncomfortable and awkward. Lighting possibly the worst I’ve experienced: harsh, overhead only, no reading lamps. Dirty walls and cushions, silverfish. The idea for this property is fine, the execution was bad.

Nice and clean hotel Reception staff really helpful We started on the top floor but had to move late Saturday night due to the loud music from the nearby open market !! Room on 5th floor at the back a lot quieter A bit out of the centre but 10min walk to the underground was ok The hotel bar next door was a nice place for a drink Free tea and coffee was a plus

A overall quite good hotel with a convenient location and friendly staff. Breakfast is also nice with fresh smoothies and fruits. The only downside for me is cleanliness of the room, can be better.
