Staff very friendly

Rooms were amazing and clean with really nice beach views, lots of amenities, staff are friendly, really luxurious and has really nice infinity pool, will definitely recommend it, thank you!

Went to lux grande gaube last year and loved it, staff, amenities, food and overall layout and experience better. Decided to try grande Baie but was let down, not bad just compared to grande gaube. Staff was more forced less attentive here, several times tables had ash and needed to be requested to be cleaned by us given we had a 2 year old not ideal. Water frequently forgotten, tables generally not ready for use at booked restaurants and needed cleaning. Staff kept forgetting to serve us, several occasions had to ask several times, felt the staff had less experience and less attentive. In general overall wasn’t anywhere near as good. Again not bad just not as good as grande gaube. Personally would choose grande gaube over grande baie, for service, anmenities and food also the beach service so much better at grand gaube non existent at grande baie which is more expensive, so service doesn’t match the price I’d say. Some staff very nice waiter in akisu, some others but just not consistent. Main chef also very lovely asking how costumers were and chatting to most

Great Staff and hotel

We had a fantastic stay for our honeymoon. The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. Additionally, the rooms were very modern and clean. The complimentary water sports was a great addition.

Hotel was amazing and the beach absolutely beautiful. Staff were attentive. Experience was fantastic overall and the food quality was super! Highly recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lux Gran Baie. We stayed for a week at the resort and received an excellent service and careful attention from all staff both for room and food service. Breakfast had a variety of choices ranging from cold buffet, pastries and hot dishes carefully prepared by the chefs which also accommodated my boyfriend’s gluten intolerance. The room was large and well designed with a beautiful bath, open shower and comfy bed. Additionally, we enjoyed the amenities like gym, sauna and private beach, where the sea water was even better than we expected from the pictures! And don’t forget to try the jet ski and snorkeling kindly offered by the resort. A special thank you to Avishka for the warm welcome and kindness throughout the stay.

Vikram and his team were truly outstanding. We travel all over the world and have not experienced service like this, truly from the heart. The people are genuine and warm, the hotel, views, beach and facilities are truly world class and breathtaking. We'll come back again for sure.

Breakfast can be better. One menu daily is boring and certianly not conducive to longstays. Alao the Indian vegetarian selection is rather poor and not properly considered having regrd to the people of indian origin that patronise the Lux Grand Baie

Fantastic 12-day stay at LUX Grand Baie, roooms, dining options, pools and beach, water sport, fitness and spa facilities are of the highest standards. But what is even better is the consistently high quality of service everywhere: attentive, helpful, friendly, highly professional team, lots of attention to the details while maintaining a laid-back, pleasant athmosphere across the resort. Family friendly, but also offering adults-only areas for shorter and longer stays. Beautiful bay, amazing sunsets. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning

The property was amazing and so was the service.

Close to grand baie town- 15/20 min walk. Good room size, great showers, all basic toiletries and hand towl provided. Excellent beach, lots of beds and private beach. Great acitivies included in room rate and easily accessible

Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)

The Lux Grand Baie is a beautiful property, service was fantastic except by the main pool, service is lacking by the pool a little. Breakfast is amazing lots of options and great quality food. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The spa - WOW it was amazing highly recommend. The pool was great had 3 options everything well spaced out so didn’t feel overcrowded. The lobby is stunning and the restaurants were fantastic. Service is 5 star throughout. Our room was super spacious (2 bedroom apartment with a private pool) and so beautiful designed and lots of storage so great for families. It is connected by a bridge which is a 5 min or less walk but a nice walk in the mornings to breakfast would highly recommend especially for family’s who need more space!!

Excellent stay here. Beautiful beach and facilities. Service sometimes a bit patchy but otherwise an amazing place to stay.
