The thing is, to prepare for the trip on September 2nd, our group booked a room at La Renta Premium Hotel & Spa 23 Bat Dan, Hanoi around June. Then on August 20th, I received an email from Traveloka informing me that the hotel had canceled my booking for the reason of "renovation and room arrangement not yet". When we contacted both Zalo and called the hotel directly, we were told that it was under renovation so it would not serve on September 2nd. However, when we tried to book a room directly with the hotel using another phone number, the hotel still accepted the booking and the price was 4 times higher than when we booked in June. I understand that it was all about money, but if you sacrifice your reputation like that, how can you do business in the long term? Anyone who intends to book this hotel should avoid it!
