Had a good night in there place

Was a great place to stay after travelling to Tuktoyaktuk by motorcycle.

The Midnight Sun is a kitschy (foyer) elderly hotel where we were first booked. Because we were staying over the weekend, the SIMPLY AMAZING front desk clerk, Joffrey (sp?), graciously moved us to the sister hotel, The Downtown. Not as kitschy, just as clean. Furnishings in both were sparse and tired, but the cleanliness (and comfort of the beds) were top-notch. Joffrey tipped the scales though… over and above in friendliness, professionalism and efficiency.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Moved us to a quieter building prior to check in. Thank you! Good coffee - nice place.

This property was amazing. Best location. Rooms were all updated and the AC was great (it was a scorcher out, so we really appreciated this) the best part was the front desk and their customer service skills. We were truly looked after and cared for.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room updated nicely with all the comforts. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Somewhat over priced.

At check in they informed us that the lobby music was really loud till 2 am . And it was true. We changed hotels after 1 night. They should put that on the web site. Then no one would stay there. It’s was disappointing as the rooms were nice

Room was nice. Had to check in at a different location. Our keys were deactivated after the first night we had to get them reactivated. No housekeeping which was OK but they didn’t even give us new coffee packets.

Good location for this old town

Comfy bed and great linen. Loved the little touch of a comfy bathrobe and great bathroom fixtures.

Gives you the perfect experience of an historical town. Outside is what you expect of an old town, but the inside was very clean, updated unique to make you feel like you have traveled back in time. Quiet and very comfortable beds!

Rooms are a little small but plenty comfy Water pressure in shower was amazing plenty of tv options if you have accounts for service already

Amazing four night stay! Beautiful location and updated nicely but still holds this timeless look. Will book again!

Loved my stay at the Midnite Sun!.The hotel is quite lovely and our room was very clean and well maintained. My only note would be that if you're looking for someplace quiet this may not be for you. We were entertained by all the people streaming in and out of the bars until all hours of the morning. I would stay here again for sure.

At first, we thought the Midnight Sun was good. Beds are super comfy, though the pillows were way too soft. However, our room did not have any hot water! When they couldn't fix the problem until after we were to check out in the morning, the hotel said they would give us a partial refund, but we had to process it through Expedia, which was a pain to get an answer from a real person! In the end, the hotel only refunded $22. It didn't seem enough for the hassle of getting the refund processed, and for 3 of us to have had to deal with freezing cold showers!
