Garrison House Inn is in a great location near Fort Anne Historic Site. The Inn is in an old house and has seven rooms. Photos show a nice enclosed dining room and an indoor dining room. Both, however, were closed for the season. Our room was on the third floor, accessed by a narrow stairway. The room was small and felt a little cramped. Two easy chairs and a queen bed were comfortable. There was a communal coffee maker just outside the room and a sitting area with a nice view. A high point was a delicious breakfast that came with the room. A low was a dated shower stall with a stained shower floor and signs of mold on the caulking in the shower. The rest of the bathroom was fine. The proprietor was very nice and gave us restaurant recommendations since hers was closed (with the exception of serving breakfast). There's not much one can do about small rooms, but I would address the grungy looking shower stall in our room.

Alana and Murray were wonderful, friendly hosts. We felt at home. Great traditional breakfasts and hot coffee refills. Charming rooms. Fort Ann is right across the street and historic homes were walking distance. Art & Po was a great place for lunch.

sheets and bathroom were clean. all furniture was old - not antique- old but worn- and stained looking, air smelled overall like old cigarette smoke or old pet smell and decor was needing updating. Open doors you could see into showed junky setting. For $250 plus, not worth the value!

Full breakfast, clean, lovely furnishings. Super convenient to downtown (galleries, restaurants, excellent coffee spot!), historical places and the harbor. Knowledgeable and pleasant owners! Thank you! Our two were challenges were parking (there is a small lot but our rental car was huge so it was a tight) and our third floor room. We had heavy and big suitcases (no elevator!) and room was in former attic with slanted ceilings… hit my head consistently! But highly recommend the Garrison House (ask for room on second floor….lol)

The Garrison house is an amazing historic home with super comfortable bedding, welco.ming helpful owners. Onsite parking and full breakfast in the morning. Righr in the town of Anapolis Royal across from Fort Anne. Very clean and comfortable. Door looks and batroom fans create some noise.

This quaint little Inn was full of character and charm. Due to a staff shortage the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the breakfast was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed our stay.
