The elevators are super weird, it feels like you are going through some sort of a maze. First off the rooms are small, unless maybe they have suites- but I can’t afford that so my friend and I got a regular room. Thankfully the gentleman at the front was able to get us a corner room for the same price, and “validated” the valet parking, which by the way is $63, but you can come and go as you please and not have to worry about being charged again. However, that’s if you’d like to wait 20-30 minutes while valet runs to get your vehicle. I don’t mind waiting but not for each time I have to exit and enter the premises. The pool! Be careful, the pool times are tricky and close at 4 pm daily- that’s check in time! So you’ll have to wait for the next morning at 8 am to go to the pool. To get to the pool you ask? Take elevator to level 8 then try to get to the pool that way, my friend and I had to get to level 9 and then take the stairs down a flight. For some reason the elevator wouldn’t go down to the “pool” level. And if you’re trying to get to the pool after 4 pm, the elevator won’t let you. It basically felt like a Willy Wonka house or some weird black mirror show. Overall, when we got to the pool in the morning it was nice, we actually had the pool to ourselves for a while. The bar downstairs has food, it’s 4/10. Sorry… I just have to say there was some good, mostly not our style. The bed were the best part!! Hope it’s a better stay for everyone else!!

My stay at the Moxy was amazing!!! The staff was super nice and helpful in every way. I was beyond impressed with the view in my room and the cleanliness it had. I’m coming back to the Moxy 100%.

I booked a paid for a room with a corner view that has two windows. I didn't get the room I paid for and it took a while to even get in a room. The customer service was good but I won't stay here again. Ruined my romantic weekend.

Great property. But they have very expensive parking and also have this hidden random “maintenance fee” of like 65$ per day that they hit your card with after you check out.

$70 for parking, $44 for two breakfast sandwiches and coffees, no real amenities, very small rooms, no separate bathrooms in the rooms, a random $35 destination fee, deposit never returned. Felt like staying in a hostel but paying exorbitant prices. Will never return.

Fun hip boutique hotel in downtown Los Angeles, right across the street from the LA Convention Center and LA Live. Also shares the same building with the AC Hotel and Level 8 nightlife and restaurant complex. Courteous and friendly staff and stylish rooms and decor. Another plus is guests of the hotel get instant access to the Level 8 restaurant area and $18 free food/beverage credit daily at any of the hotel restaurants and bars.

The first time I stayed at Moxy DTLA in 2023 I had an amazing time and they made a great first impression. I felt like property was beautiful and there were so many dining options/amenities. Perhaps the property is being managed differently now because I noticed alot of wear and tear in the room along with cleanliness issues such as someone's hair in my shower and dust on most all the surfaces. There was also some miscommunication with room service. I was advised at check in that I could use my food and beverage credit on room service and then I was told this property doesn't offer room service. I wasnt able to take advantage of the credits. Ultimately, it wasn't the worst stay I've experienced but the bad outweighed the good for me this time. I would likely not return as there are so many other options to choose from in the same area.

Beautiful property! Great location, pretty hotel. Staff was kind. Very little amenities, NO refrigerator, NO coffee maker, NO microwave in room. Difficult, small rooms with just hooks on the wall to hang things. Hard to navigate with a small family--we kept losing everything, even with drawers under the bed. We loved the convenience in proximity to the Convention Center and downtown. With a few small tweaks, this property could improve greatly. Add in a small microwave/coffee maker/fridge below the sink OR increase the room credit to $50. CHECK YOUR ROOM CHARGES. We were charged for valet parking when we did not have a car. They were very quick and gracious to refund. We would DEFINITELY stay here again at the next conference, though.

Enjoyed my stay, bathrooms and shower doors are see through though so if you do book a stay here make sure it’s with someone you’re comfortable with.

It is extemely dark throughout the hotel which was really hard for my mom (82), there was a fake emergency evacuation and we had to walk down 26 flights of stairs which was really hard for my mom. Additionally the elevators did not go to certain floors at certain times and you had to go to other sets of elevators to get to certain floors. They were a complete maze and mystery that was never given explanation. It was very challenging.
