Feels like being at the cottage!

There was a couple of cockroaches. Other than that it was comfortable. There is a coffee machine, sugar and creamer, but no coffee.

We loved it so much we're going back next year. If you're all about giving your hard earned dollars to a mom and pop business instead of one of those corporate hotels this is one of the best ones. Across the road from the lake and dock, public beach right there for swimming. Tims down and kawartha creamery just down the road. Boat rentals down the road. Casinorama 12 minutes away. The location checks off all the boxes and staff willing to go that little bit extra for their clients.

We loved everything about it. Only complaint would be the dog next door barking at 5:00 in the morning. Would consider going back though.

Have stayed here a few times. Location to Rama is good.....and not too far from downtown. Right across from the lake, you can swim and there is a park by the water. You can also have a fire and plenty of room for lawn games. We brought bocce ball for one of our trips. Great value for the price!

Bright, clean and spacious office greeted us as we went to check-in. The friendly owner greeted us , welcoming us to Lakeside Inn and to Ramara. Our room was on the ground level, a lakeview room with the lawn in front. Pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the room, the good sized mini fridge which also had a separate freezer compartment. Two queen beds are spaced axcomfortable distance between each other. TV and wifi service were great. A short walk to a small, quiet beach and park with playground. Loved it so much we booked a return trip the first night. A nice quiet place within a easy drive of several communities.

Very welcoming and friendly. Rooms appear recently painted/renovated. Clean room and parking included. Park/Beach close across the road. Close to Casino Rama too.

The location and view of the lake were wonderful. Close parking, good little kitchen with small fridge, microwave, counter space. Minutes from downtown Orillia with lots to do. We had a lovely time.

The owner's and staff are lovely people. Everything is kept clean & tidy; indoors and out. The location and view is excellent. I loved the unique quality of their small shop that offerred up free access to books, games and even a Magic 8 Ball for fun; as well as, affordable jewellery, incense and curios.
