Such a friendly and accommodating team at Mercure Dunkerque. Spacious family room for a family of 4, comfy beds and convenient parking below the hotel. Amazing location for early morning Shuttle crossing to UK. We’ve stayed here twice when doing this journey and can’t wait to come visit again!

Property overlooked the cinema car park which was handy for parking as the hotel car park was full,hotel restaurant very limited but there was avery nice american diner next door and we ate there.

Overall great hotel. The gaming room and kids play area could be in better condition but still very nice stay and would come again. Great staff.

The hotel is clean and modern. Located conveniently to transportation and walkable to the city center. Right next to 2 shopping centers. Breakfast is good. The public bus is free and the hotel is walkable from the train station. Staff are friendly.

The position is excellent and our room had a lovely view, the water pressure in the shower was poor, the breakfast was limited and the food needed to be covered from the flys, and for hygiene sake sliced bread would have been preferred.

Attitude of the people… like we should be grateful for living… very rude. Lousy bar service… never came around to get our order. Made a complete mess of a gin & tonic.. hot water in room was not hot & very low pressure. Seems like a depressed area & tourists not welcome even though my ancestors liberated France twice & died on their soils..

Great stay, great staff

Good quiet location with various restaurants nearby, car parking available and breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. Room was clean and comfortable and had air-conditioning. Only 35 minutes to Eurotunnel if driving back to UK.

Wonderful breakfast selection which was of the best quality I have had in any hotel in UK or Europe. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with a particular mention for Ophelia at reception. Great location within Dunkerque. Secure underground parking at hotel. Close to all public transport links.

Excellent service overall...

Really nice hotel fab breakfast selection really friendly staff weather was very warm for April but air con was switched off. Only reason I gave 4 stars for facilities because everything else was 5 star.

My visit was for business which was located an easy 15 minute drive to the north. The hotel caters good for business purposes as well as tourists. An easy 10 minutes walk takes you to the center of historic Ghent.
