We loved the roof top bar! The reception staff were super helpful and welcoming. A lovely stay in the city centre.

The hotel was very comfortable - the bed was amazing! Rooftop bar with spectacular views was a lovely place to relax. A very quick walk from Central Station, the Cathedral, and the Quay, with lots of good cafes nearby. Excellent a/c during the heatwave in June! Will certainly come back if I am in Exeter.

Stayed for 1 night, location was great, the hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were welcome and friendly too. Don't eat at the hotel but had cocktails in Dotties, which were very good.

Bar staff weren't particularly helpful or customer focused

Brilliant hotel We couldn’t work the air con in the bathroom and the service was a little slow in the restaurant but otherwise faultless Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff and room was beautiful and beds very comfortable. Food was excellent as well.

We liked attentive front desk. Room had terrace. Quiet. A/C worked fine in May heat wave. Disliked: no onsite cleaning to remedy dirty ceiling and bedcover in evening. Slow breakfast - 20 minutes late despite alerting staff to our departure deadline.

Amira at reception was friendly, polite and professional. Hotel is beautiful, very close to restaurants and shopping.

The Dottie dinner menu has changed from our previous stay in 12/25. It wasn’t at the same high standard as it was previously. However, the staff were outstanding.

Excellent decor and central location to all the cities amenities. Shower room is in need of a deep clean to remove black mould accumulating in the bathroom. Of note, the coffee machine could also do wirh a clean on a much more regular basis because there's no evidence of maintenance. There is a slow biuldup of mould in the loading chamber Security: I had booked 2 rooms for our trip. The following morning I felt a room card under my bed sheet, which I subsequently tested on both rooms. To my surprise the key opened both doors, so I took it to the reception desk. Reception confirmed it was a house key for cleaning staff, that couldopen all doors and had been made inactive. I asked that they tighten up their security to safeguard their patrons, now and in the future.
