Self check in is problematic and when trying to call for help is next to impossible

Absolutely loved the location, the room and the staff. They were very helpful and patient with me when I left something in the safe after the checkout. Really Had a nice happy stay.

Great location, helpful staff

The room was great. It was clean and spacious and had a small useful kitchen where we were able to make a simple dinner. It had good air conditioning, which was very appreciated during a heat wave. It was in a great location in the old town where we were able to walk to all the attractions easily. The cafe downstairs had great food and service. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Lucerne.

The hotel has an excellent location, which made it very convenient to explore the city and access nearby attractions. Public transport, restaurants, and shops were all within easy reach. However, the room itself was quite small and felt a bit cramped for our stay. There was no fridge in the room, which would have been helpful, especially for longer stays or keeping drinks and snacks. The furniture was also very minimal — there was only a very small table, and even the chairs were stacked on top of each other due to the lack of space. Overall, the hotel is a good choice if location is your top priority, but the room size and limited amenities may not be ideal for a comfortable or longer stay.

Room cleaning mediocre. Found hair in sheets and duvet, dust throughout. No ac in room and when called about it we were told no staff on hand, no fans available. Made for an uncomfortable night especially for our daughter in top bunk with poor airflow. Location is decent but overall would not recommend staying here.

Loved the kitchen. The A/C was adequate. Can’t beat the location. The slanted wall is a bit inconvenient but hey, we knew ahead of time. We were happy with the shower and toiletries. Overall, I would recommend.

The location was great, you are literally in the middle of old town. Rhe room was nice but basic. The laundry equipment was terrible, the dryer never dried our clothes.

Well maintained property and the in-house laundry is so inconvenient. The staff are incredible!

Exceeded expectations

Easy self check in process, great location near train/bus station and stops and sites to see, delicious noodles at the connecting restaurant, laundry was convenient as well. AC was in room but struggled to cool the space, also made a loud noise that was disruptive for sleeping. Building has an elevator but if you are on the top floor, you will have a flight of stairs to carry your luggage up

I recommend this hotel. The only thing is the a/c is not cold enough but still manageable. We had a pleasant stay.

Great location.

We booked two rooms because we are a family 5 traveling. We absolutely loved the location and the rooms were very, very clean!!! We were in room 106 and it was perfect with a tiny kitchen area. Our kids were in 303. The only trouble we had was checking in (but resolved quickly) and the kids’ room was not cooling properly. Overall it’s a terrific place! Loved, loved the little restaurant/coffee bar. The breakfast and coffee were delicious!! Very nice people and we will be back!

A nice stay. Didn’t receive check in details in email, however lady on the phone was very helpful and prompt to respond. Great location. Room a bit small but there was 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 teenage kids with big bags. Layout of room was excellent. Good value.

It was a little challenging to do online entry because I couldn't always get good phone service. I tried to make a physical keycard and it failed to work. Thankfully, one of the staff in the bar/restaurant was able to help me. It was also challenging to carry our luggage through the front entrance, up the flight of stairs and around to the elevator. It would help to somehow direct guests to the side entrance after getting checked in electronically. The room itself was perfect, plenty of space. Everything appeared clean and well stocked. There were only 2 complaints: The A/C unit did not seem to work well; the fan was barely blowing air. We had to open the windows to get the room to cool down. The other item was that the bed was not anchored well. If you propped up against the headboard to read, the bed would begin slipping away from the wall! We still had a great stay though, and it was so centrally located to the train station, shopping, waterfront and other things we wanted to do. We were not prepared, however, for all the shops and many restaurants to close so early in the evening (7PM), and after being gone all day sightseeing, it could be challenging to find something to eat. And the kitchen in the hotel restaurant also stopped serving at that time, although they remained open a little longer to serve drinks.

Very good location. Close to central train station where you can also find bunch of shops open when other are already closed. Modern and well thought out hotel. Hassle free check-in and check-out. Stayed 5 nights. Would recommend.
