Really good pub hotel on the outskirts of Brighton. The rooms are clean a comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were all really friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for a good value stay with free parking only a short taxi away from Brighton.

I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat.

Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality.

Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and explained how things worked. Our only issue is the position of our room. It was next to a major traffic junction, No.7, so it was difficult to sleep. However, the staff made up for all inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our 4 days

Room was very clean and spacious

Room had a sea view and huge windows. Lots of space for us and a teenager in the one room. Kettle, coffee machine and mini fridge all came in useful. Very friendly staff. On quite a busy road and above a pub so there is noise, but this didn’t bother us as we were staying for one night only while we went to a party.

Very cosy room at a very great price. The pub downstairs was busy but we heard absolutely no noise in our room. The girls checking us in and out were lovely and we had a great stay.

The breakfast menu was extensive and cooked to order. It was delicious.

Our overnight stop was perfect. The staff were brilliant especially the manager. We were made to feel welcome , had a lovely meal in the bar and breakfast was brilliant. Well done.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having the pub attached and it was walkable to Brightons stadium!!

Room.was separate to the pub but was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly.Plenty of parking spaces, close to bus stop and nearby shops if need anything. A great breakfast too

Lovely room, on the smaller side but worked well for what we needed. Good value for money. Comfortable bed and everything was clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located on busy road but could not hear noise at night which was very good. Close to bus stops for easy travel into Brighton centre. plenty of parking on site and felt safe. downsides: the pub was busy when we tried to check in and we and another guest were stood around waiting a while to get staff attention to show us to our rooms. the hotel and pub had a power cut one morning and could not serve the hot breakfast menu so given a selection of continental options instead.
