We checked in our room only to be received by a foul sewage-like stench throughout the unit. On top of that we had virtually no warm water to shower with. We notified the staff and they downgraded us to a smaller unit with an extremely small shower that quite literally measured 3’x3’. You could not turn around in the shower without turning the shower knob off. The icing on the cake was that this unit too suffered from the lack of warm water availability. Imagine coming back to your apartment after a long day of traveling and wanting to unwind in a warm shower. Not here. I reached out to the staff once more and they never responded. I do not recommend Bob W. Atocha Madrid. Save your hard earned money and stay elsewhere.

Only good things about this property is near to city Center and spacious Goodness ends here . Stayed here with family in last week of February Whole house had unbearable moldy smell

Clean room, super cute room, nice area.

I might be to old, but no reception and keyless entrance, it took me more than 5 minuts to get in from the rain, and I was not the only one, there were a family that stood here when I came and still after I entered.

Fully equipped kitchen and very friendly staff the complimentary gym pass to viva gym was very helpful to stay active keep it up

The room was very clean and any questions we had were answered immediately via chat. The location of the room in Madrid was perfect. We opted for breakfast which really worked out. Loved the way you could pick which amenities you want.

Was a great apartment as we walked everywhere. Just bring your earplugs could hear the people upstairs walking. Could use a fresh in up but other than that was great. Would recommend. The mercado across the street was great!!

No hot water in the shower, ceiling is leaking water, and bed is itchy

The studio was a decent size for two people. It was nice having the kitchenette though we only used it to boil water for the morning coffee. Not quite big enough to be able to cook a whole meal. I was surprised by the many thoughtful details, e.g., laundry detergent (which I didn't use but it was nice nonetheless), the recommendations, etc. It's across the street from a market, so if the kitchen had been a separate room, I might have cooked. The only downside is that I had little control of the temperature - it was a little too hot in the room for my taste. While that was easily solved by opening the window in December, it did get a little noisy -- thankfully, I had ear plugs. Check-in and check-out were easy, despite no one being there. All in all, a decent stay. I'd stay there again - but not in summer. I have a feeling I wouldn't be able to get the room cool enough for me.

Room was great. Spacious. Clean. A little far from some of the attractions to walk to but overall wonderful. I would highly recommend and stay there again

Excellent location. But they never cleaned in a 4 night stay.

We have an excellent stay at Bob W Arte. The facilities provided were spotless, the staff courteous and attentive when required. It’s located within 5 mins walk of a super market, across the road from a food market, and within 10 mins walk of 3 Metro Stops. There’s a good coffee shop just next door and a couple of decent places to eat close by. It’s provided us with a good snap shot of Madrid living. Getting around Madrid was easy too.

Great Location, Nice and Clean Apartment. Would Recommend.

The apartment overall was nice but there was this horrid drain odour that was coming from the apartment as soon as we stepped into the apartment. The staff was aware and had left windows open for ventilation but that didn’t help at all. I complained to the management and they said someone would come in the morning to have a look. Some form of chemicals were put down the drains while we were out and I was left with a message that it had been treated. However upon our return the stench was worse than before. Also one of the sliding bathroom doors got stuck and two guests got their fingers caught whilst trying to open the door. Very disappointed with our overall experience and what has made it worse is that the management hadn’t offered any sort of compensation. If I was you I would steer clear of this apartment!

No hot water for the shower. The shower stall is also tiny, difficult to turn around without bumping your elbows into the screen doors.

L really loved the room. Very clean. Spacious, great communication with them throughout trip.

The apartment was great no complaints at all, location is close by the metro and there so many great restaurants near by. We love it and would definitely book it again
