We had a truly exceptional stay at Villa Flavia. The hotel was in a superb location, with a very friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful accommodations. The rooms were clean and modern, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Plovdiv and would choose it every time ! Check out the tour of the hotel-- it's built on ancient ruins and the hotel staff does a nice job of explaining the history.

Villa Flavia was absolutely amazing. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Plovdiv. The rooms are clean and nice. The breakfast is great. The staff can’t do enough for you. All I can say is stay here … the Roman ruins below the building are amazing too. 10/10!!!!

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's owner, Konstantin Kostov, was particularly impressive. Always there, it seemed, and he also gave an excellent talk about the Roman baths underneath the hotel. Whatever I asked of him, he always went the extra yard. Any criticism? I had to work hard to come up with one: the fridge in my room was not cold enough!

I was visiting to watch the European rowing championships. Plovdiv is a lovely city with plenty of history, many old ruins to see & fantasic bars & restaurants. The city is well worth a visit. The hotel itself is excellent. It’s in a great location very close to everything. All the people there are very friendly & helpful. It’s a gem of a place & I would definitely stay there again. It is built on an old Roman Bath & every day the staff do a little tour of their own ruins which is well worth attending. One day I needed breakfast a little bit earlier & they easily accommodated me. Fantastic place.

Everything was PERFECT!!!! Every detail was absolutely taken into consideration. I’m speechless. I will be back! Thank you to the amazing staff who were so kind and helped us with recommendations and also nice conversations. The breakfast was amazing. The tour of the basement ancient ruins was so informative. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The property itself is wonderful. The staff is the very best; friendly and helpful. The location simply can’t be beat. Free parking very near to the hotel. Breakfast is outstanding. Many restaurants nearby. Do yourself a favor, if you are in Plovdiv, stay at this hotel!

Amazing hotel. Perfect location. The stay gives you the feeling to be part of the history and Plovdiv. The great excursion possibility to explore a historic romanian bath under the hotel is amazing and makes the hotel absolutely special. For me the best hotel in Plovdiv.

Located in the old historical town, somewhat difficult to reach, but otherwise excellent hotel and excellent breakfast. tea-coffe machines in the room and , daily, two nice bottles of mineral water. Private parking 100 yards away at E13 / day

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is a clever combination of modern and historic. They offer a free guided tour of the Roman ruins dispovered when the hotel was build. They are well preserved and quite impressive. The staff is absolutely amazing - very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are modern and provide many amenaties within the room including earpicks, nail files, make-up tampons, slipers, mini fridge stocked with alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks. They even has shoe polish and a shoehorn. The breakfast is balanced and served in their cosy lounge area. They offer paid secure parking which is brilliant given the location (the absolute centre of Plovdiv) There is a large terrace on the rooftop with a small peak view of the Roman Amphitheater. Me and my parents had the best time and would definitely recommend!

Great hotel with wonderful staff. The Roman bath ruins underneath were wonderful. Everything about the hotel was top notch. Highly, highly recommend and will absolutely stay here if I'm ever in Plovdiv again.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location in the Old Town. Every one of the staff we encountered dealt with us in a very friendly, helpful and professional manner. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean (as were the other areas of the hotel). The room had all the facilities we needed including a small safe, excellent air-conditioning and a good sized bathroom. The free mini-fridge which was restocked each day was both unexpected and a nice touch. There is a lovely courtyard area where you can choose to have breakfast which had a very good range of food available. An unexpected surprise was a guided tour after breakfast of the Roman bath and ruins in the basement of the hotel which we really enjoyed.

We had a wonderful four days in Villa Flavia. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a safe, a coffee machine, a tv including two channels in English, comfortable beds and a great bathroom. There is also free use of the contents of the room fridge which is replenished every day. The staff are all efficient and very friendly. The hotel is well placed in the city centre and you can walk easily to Roman remains, bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel also offers a short tour of the Roman bath in the basement. We had an enjoyable stay here and can thoroughly recommend Villa Flavia.

The hotel is very unique. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms and mini-bar contents are included. It was built over some nice Roman ruins and they do a great tour in the mornings. Awesome place and great location.
