I enjoyed that the resort is right on the beach, which allowed us to take long walks and enjoy hearing the waves. I didnt like that the rule of not reserving lounge chairs was not enforced at all so unless you reserved a longer with your towel or book at 7;00am there was absolutely no place to sit. I saw some guest putting personal items on loungers in multiple areas to use at different times during the day, which is very selfish behavior and should not be tolerated by resort staff.

Nice place to stay in! It wasn’t too crowded when we stayed in the month of May. You have access to Krystal Grand and Hacienda which is a nice plus as Krystal Grand is more family friendly and Hacienda is for adults and more quieter. The food was not bad but could improve. You also have to make a reservation for the restaurants for the dinner option but if you don’t make it on time you are out of luck. We managed to get one on our last night only after talking to reception. You also have to pay a fee for room service. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. No complaints on that. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Paid for a partial ocean view which we got but had to look out at the construction site as well. Breakfast was probably the best meal and that still wasn’t great. Would not recommend this hotel.

the room as absolutely filthy and not cleaned. Mold everywhere. Can’t get proper change of towels or bedding. They limit your restock of water, even with a medical condition involving a Cpap. My husband and 5 year old where sick and to avoid spreading, they wanted to stay in room. We weren’t allowed to bring food to them and the option was $150 peso charge room service. My 5 year old wasn’t allowed to sit outside without shoes on, but a lady with a see through coverup wearing only a thread of a thong and barely covered nipples was allowed to sit and eat. The hallways were never cleaned and were absolutely disgusting. My husband ended up with mold infection in his lungs and sick. My son noticed an ear plug on the ground in the hallway and after 6 days, still was there. The room wrecked of mold and curtains had visible mold on them.

Good hotel, staff very friendly. Touch up renovation would be great, but for the price - it’s a great option.

Staff was friendly and attentive with the exception of when the beach was rented to cruise ships docked for their passengers. Condition of the resort was poor and cleaned only with water - no cleaning agents. This included the reusable cups used by the bars for cocktails.

Very disappointed- lack of food options - especially dinner. A la carte restaurants are not open every night and can be difficult to get a reservation Hotel is very run down!!!! Basic Typical pool/beach chairs is an issue too

On the positive side, the beach at this property is excellent! Some less positive things were only two ala carte restaurants open per day and food was poor. Always short on beach towels and towels for the rooms. Not enough poolside and beach loungers to go around. The lack of inventory at this resort made it feel like it was going to shut down soon and they were trying to get by with as little as possible. Rooms need updating as well. The staff for the most part were excellent. Other than one manager that was quite rude from the Hacienda side. Overall, we still had a good vacation, but the property and inventory really need to improve.

We were disappointed with the food choices and dining experiences. We would have preferred more options and felt the same food was repeated day after day. We found ourselves dining off resort more than we anticipated. Our room was fine but we needed to ask the desk a number of times during our stay for hand and wash towels for the bathroom.

They do not have water so everynight, few trucks coming to bring water to the site, causing super loud noise at the middle of the night. On our 2nd night, no water in general, no shower, no toilet, that was a nightmare. Beside that, room needs an upgrade, staffs has 0 English and super unfriendly. Too much busy during the holiday which we can understand, but with the low consideration to the others of the local people, the buffet everyday become a show. I witnessed two times that two ladies put their unused foods back to the bowls on the counter for everyone. Talked to staffs to remove that bowl but nothing changes. I come back to check only to see the punes with some touch of the lady’s mayonnaise (from her dirty dish) still there, gross.
