Everything was flawless. Best hotel stay ever.

The photos of this place on the site don’t really do it justice. It was incredibly beautiful. Very updated with great design and very clean. The staff were all amazing and the food was fantastic. We felt like we probably each gained 3 kilos in the three days we were there. We also did all of the 2x daily game drives and those were a really great experience too…we saw something new/different each time we went out. Our guide (Lisa) went out of her way to make those great..one day our group “voted” to go to the south end of the park to try to see rhinos and she said it would be a long drive and we had about a 10% chance to see them. Just as it was about time to head back and we’d given up, we ended up seeing a group of 4 rhinos. Then on the way back, we spotted a leopard, so we stopped for that, which extended that game drive by nearly two hours. Lisa seemed happy to do that and…even though we didn’t get back til after 10:30, we were still given the full breakfast service/options when we returned!

I really have no words. This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I’m coming from the US and this was our first safari experience, my husbands first time in Africa, and I was beyond blown away. From the service, to the dining options, to the attention to detail… everything was a 10 out of 10. We stayed in one of the carriage suits and it was beyond memorable! LOVE KRUGER SHALATI!

Amazing stay service was great

Great location and ambience. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and friendly and our servers were attentive and responsive.

From the minute you arrive the staff are welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Rooms are amazing. Just go and try it.

This is a dream Safari lodge. The service is over the top, beautiful grounds, terrific Safari guides, good food, comfortable beds, spacious rooms.

Unlike any other experience, it’s Africa , the people smile and are gracious, the food and beverage offerings all inclusive was excellent! The safari rides ,, our guide MK went all out to find us animals , outstanding spotter ! It was definitely 5 star comfort luxury and service

This was a very special chance for my daughter and I to visit Kruger Park. So I opted for a special place to stay - Kruger Shalati. We stayed in a train car on the bridge. It was elegant, quiet, and spacious with a spectacular view. Below us in the river was abundant wildlife including hippos. We enjoyed an all inclusive plan with superb dining, gracious service, and two daily safaris with exceptional guides (shout out to Lisa!) I stay in hotels 100+ nights a year and this ranks as one of the finest resorts I’ve ever experienced.

Fantastic Experience we had in this Lodge! Unfurtunatelly, we just stayed one night, and should be 2 nights and inside the train! The room we choice was amazing! But inside the train should be an undorgetable experience!! Just inside the restaurant it was warm, should have more ar condicionar!

Fantastic and completely unique hotel on a train. We stayed in a garden suite which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was fabulous. We had Nelly as our tour guide on the game drives and saw the big five. We will definitely be back

The staff are all so friendly and hospitable. Be ready to eat like you never have before on the fully inclusive package. Stayed in Garden room number 5 and it was very nice and spacious. Elephants, monkeys, crocodiles and hippos are all at the doorstep of the resort visiting daily which is amazing. Twice daily game drives take place at 5am and 4:30pm and we're so much fun.

Best hotel of my life. Best service. Unlimited drinks all day long and fantastic wines. Food was excellent and the safari organized were amazing Don't hesitate, book here absolutely

Would definitely recommend staying at Shalati - we stayed 4 nights and could have stayed longer. The accommodations were great, staff was amazing and the setting is truly unique and incredible.
