Helpful staff on arrival- although supposed to be 24hr reception we couldn't find anyone to supply a hairdryer early morning. Otherwise comfortable and convenient hotel.

The hotel is a great cheap and affordable option when staying in London, despite it being a budget hotel the bathroom wasn’t overly clean with dusty floors and ledges. Amenities are soap, shower gel and coffee making facilities only. Room was quite bare and not very cosy. Having said this, the bed was very comfy and we slept really well! The hotel is quite and on a quite road too. We had an issue whereby we returned to our room late afternoon and the cleaner had been in to replace our towels and had not locked or closed our door. This was really disappointing and not safe given there are other rooms on our floor and the door was visibly open so could easily have had things taken. We did report this to reception staff. Otherwise an okay stay, for a budget hotel.

Small basic room but perfectly comfortable with a good shower in the bathroom. Bottled water and fruit was a nice addition to the room. Can be a little noisy due to the lino flooring in the room.

Room was tiny in the basement. More like a broom store Bed was worn out. Headboard should have been replaced at least 10 years ago. Horrible smell. Chose not to attempt to use the shower. Guy on reception was very professional and pleasant. Just doing his job.

Always a great experience. Extremely friendly and helpful staff members. The cleaning crew are so helpful and friendly. Receptionists are always willing to help, and the location is fantastic with quite accessible prices.

Well, good location, and friendly staffs. In terms of comfortably, i will just give it a passing rate. No t realise the room without air-conditioning, and not even a fan. Take its location as a judge, will think value for money but cannot expect too much.

Great one except one morning we had to inform the manager about water problem. But it was instantly switched on and everything was okay after that.

My taxi driver took me to the address you gave me. It was not as the picture. I got no response at the door. I tried at other numbers and found a bed at Global on the corner in the street. The owner requested £30. I paid that. The room was v. small, the bed the narrowest since my babyhood. There was one ceiling light above my face. The bed was clean, warm & comfortable. I slept badly, I needed to be at St Pancreas International at 06:03. I was.

Was very nice and cozy, came with the relevant toiletries. However water did have issues during our stay which staff kindly communicated that it was due to a leak. Apart from this issue the actual stay was enjoyable and would book again

Very convenient - had an early morning train from King's cross which is no more than a 5-minute walk away. Building is older, but rooms are comfy and staff are great

I arrived at 3.15 am. I was woken at 7.30am with builders outside my bedroom window. Went for shower but never had one as water scolding hot. Thats all you need after travelling on a coach from Budapest

Excellent little hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff ... The ensuite double room was light and airy with a very comfortable bed. I will definitely book again when next I come to London, as it is extremely good value with great access to the city.

I was able to check in an hour early and friendly staff carried my bag down multiple flights of stairs to the bottom floor as there is no lift. The room was very run down and worn but felt safe for very short stay. Unfortunately, when I returned from my evening out I found the room was overrun with about 20 plus ants coming out of the shower drain and the floor boards. I was disgusted and let the staff at the front desk know. He came to check the room and moved me to the only other room he had available as it was close to midnight. The second room was on the ground floor but was another disappointment. The room was even more rundown but I stayed because I was getting an early train anyway. The bedding was dirty and had stains. I ended up sleeping in the cleaner of the two single beds. The shower was tiny and the door kept falling off it's runners. I had to lift it back in place to get out. I didn't see any more insects but felt uncomfortable with my stay and struggled to sleep due to how dirty the room was. I also ended up spraying down my bag with bug spray when I left as I didn't want to bring any friends with me. The window also didn't close and it was noisy all night. I would not stay here again but the staff did seem to be doing their best to be friendly and helpful. The area is safe with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I was in a hurry in the morning or I would have asked for a full refund.
