Hotel was fine. Food was excellent as were the staff. Unfortunately the cottage (9) was very “tired”, and shower was a hand held shower head in bath without even a fixing to hold it onto wall - definitely needs bringing out of the 80’s. On positive note was it quiet.

This hotel is very convenient for Briare train station with excellent trains into Paris daily. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds are lovely, with lots of parkland and trees.

Beautiful property with a lovely restaurant. Rooms were very nice and very large. Gorgeous property -- great for a wedding. We also booked ones of the cabins which was great for our family.

Beautiful grounds. Good food at the restaurant. We stayed in a cottage which was very spacious and comfortable. Wi fi poor though.

The room was clean and spacious. I felt totally pampered the whole time I was there. The abundant breakfast is definitely worth it.

The location is fabulous with extensive and beautiful grounds, within short walking distance of all the major sights in the town. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Vert Nice stay at the Domaine de roches. The staff was friendly end the cottages were very nice too. The pool was also nice, but it was a bit uncomfortable to go from the cottages to the pool and back.

The hotel is nice but appeared a bit run down compared to some years ago when I stayed there. We stayed overnight Sunday to Monday and unfortunately the restaurant was closed leaving us with limited dinner options in Briare town itself. No tea / coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast buffet was also not as extensive as I remembered it from earlier years. Both the hotel and Briare town were surprisingly quiet given we visited in peak season.

This hotel is very nice, friendly staff and comfortable room. The food is good and reasonably priced, BUT they just made it too fancy, lots of cream and foam and different items together that did not necessarily blend. The portions were big. It was as if they were trying to get into the higher echelons of nouvelle cuisine but it ended up being too much and too rich. We only had three course but you could have had five, probably followed by indigestion all night!

The best feature of this hotel is the grounds, which are truly stunning. The room itself was nothing special, just a normal hotel room. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Family of four persons, we have been accomodated in two cottages in the garden, each one with one bedroom, spacious living rooom with dayly zone, fully equiped kitchen and dining table with an access to a cosy backyard with another table and chairs. The surrounding is extremely beautiful, huge garden with lakes, ducks, many trees, tenis court, table tennis, art exibition. The main hotel is not too big - about 13 rooms and 12-13 cottages along the garden almost in the forest so that the place is very quiet and excellent for recreation. The hotel offers also a swimming pool, sauna and hammam. Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with tipical french goodies in a nice and cosy salon.

Fantastic place to stay before taking a trip to the Canal Lateral a La Loire, te service was excelent and the properties very beautiful.
