Beautiful modernised property. They think of every detail - wonderful. Staff very charming, friendly and most helpful. Great breakfast. They deserve a 10/10 for everything.

Fantastic!

Carmen was an excellent hostess and so friendly. Rooms are clean, modern andhave everything we needed. The breakfast is outstanding with a great choice. I would recommend Opuntia to anyone who wants to stay in Mijas. Location is perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Opuntia! Pleasant, friendly and professional management and staff made the experience even better. Rooms were inviting and comfortable… and nicely decorated. Breakfast was incredible. We will definitely stay again next time in Mijas.

Lovely stay - nothing was too much trouble Beautiful rooms and fabulous location. The roof terrace is spectacular.

Our room was out of service however the manager Jluis accommodated us at another property 10 minutes walk away. La Famalia Mijas was wonderful and definitely an upgrade from Opuntia. The only glich was breakfast on day two was unavailable as we had no access to the hotel. I can’t honestly rate the hotel as we never saw the rooms ,etc. however Jluis contacted us prior to arrival and handled accommodations marvously.

Parking was our only issue here, but ultimately we found that public parking was acceptable, and with a short Uber you are in paradise at the door. Visit the Bull fighting ring! An unforgettable experience and destination that my lovely bride and I may return to in the future!!!!

Very attentive and polite staff throughout. Welcome drinks on arrival. The room was fantastic,clean and very modern. Nights stay was comfortable with a lovely bed. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not fault a thing and we will be definitely staying again at some point.

This hotel is just perfect. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like family and offered a welcome drink in the beautiful courtyard. The rooms are spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The beds are some of the best I’ve slept on and the complimentary water and fruit were just amazing. Everywhere you look, there are little touches to make you feel welcome and the stay a little more special. The staff are the friendliest and most professional I’ve come across so will most definitely be back!

This was an amazing boutique hotel. The location was perfect! They provided fresh fruits regularly. The hotel was very clean. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We stayed in a family room for one night, it was spotlessly clean, staff were so friendly, the bed was very comfortable, hotel was perfectly located to explore Mijas, we’ve done day trips to Mijas several times over the years and this is the first time we’ve stayed over night, we’ll definitely come back to this hotel and stay longer next time!!

Fantastic place, lovely decoration, very comfortable. Decor is amazing, breakfast was exceptional. They had thought of everything, nothing was too much trouble and all staff were extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much

I loved this hotel. Arrived early and was offered a complimentary drink. Check in was smooth. Breakfast was lovely. We left early on the 2nd morning and they prepared breakfast for us to take to the airport. The apartment was excellent. This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

Fantastic central location but don’t try to drive to the front door. Park at nearby Plaza Virgin de La Peña Parking. A short work including stairs. Rooms very clean and modern. Comfortable bed and good shower. Good breakfast and friendly service.
