Amazing! Every part of the stay felt like a lush experience.
The pros: the staff were all absolutely exceptional. If you are traveling with children they offer a babysitting service - Juliet was beyond amazing with our infant while we went on an excursion she was too young to join us for.
From check in to check out we loved every second. The view from the deck is just breathtaking, particularly for sunsets. You can hear hippo grunting in the background and often are greeted by elephant on the road into the hotel.
The room was fully kitted out and had every little thing thought of. From bath salts to have a soak, to the Nespresso coffee machine and little treats waiting for us on arrival. They provided a wooden crib for our infant (pre book if you need one).
Our only con was that the restaurant service was very slow. Food often took over an hour (room service often was 1.5hrs). While it is Africa and things may take time (the food was delicious), this was one point that made it a bit tricky as the location is well out of walking distance to any alternatives.
Breakfast was absolutely sublime.
Shoutout definitely needs to go to Juliet, Alfred, and the entire team for their friendliness and professionalism. We also really enjoyed the choir that was singing as we arrived.
