A little late with this review! However, we stayed here back in January this year for 5 nights. The hotel location in this absolutely stunning valley is excellent. We were skiing and the hotel position, just off the groomed cross country ski and horse sleigh trail's meant it was virtually ski in, ski out. Alex, the owner, and his staff made us very welcome. The hotel is spotlessly clean with lovely spacious rooms. The spa facilities are excellent, and to top it, the restaurant food and service was fantastic. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The way in which the Ortler-family, with its marvelous crew, pays attention to detail both on a superficial level as on a personal level is nothing short of pure magic!!! We spent a week with three other families and were extremely well taken care of! The rooms are generous and very well equipped, the communal areas are spread out in a way that you always find secluded places, the dining hall is newly built on top of the spa-area which in itself is worth the trip and all this is set in the plains of Sulden, easily accessible. Ski in- Ski out works like a charm. We have already booked for next year. Amazing (don’t tell anybody-let’s keep this a secret)

What an amazing stay we had here! I stayed with a group of 6 before and after the Ortler traverse. Herman, Alex and all of the staff were outstanding! The food was also delicious and none of the meals or drinks disappointed. We had one person in our group with some food sensitivities and they were accommodating to their needs and also provided them with an excellent course of meals as well. The saunas were a welcome treat after 4 days in the mountains. And the view from the jacuzzi was spectacular. Alex was quite accommodating to our group when we had to move our final night forward a day. He and his staff also helped our group shuttle down to our taxi after a snowstorm prohibited our taxi from getting directly to the hotel, all 6 of us and our skis and gear! Who does that these days?!? The rooms were spacious with windows with views of the valley, town, or mountains. Some of the rooms also had a small balcony. The ability to ski from the lift to the hotel and the short 5-10 minute walk up the hill to the lift were also major perks. Can’t wait to visit Alex and Herman at this winter wonderland again!

Perfect location for ski. Food is close to Michelin star restaurant.
