Was not able to accomplish planned 100 ride due to fatigue. However the room was very pleasant and allowed for a great day of rest and recuperation. Hope to return someday to Pontresina to attempt the ride and when I do I look to once again staying at this great locale in the Engadin Valley. Thanks Hotel Steinbock for a great stay

It was raining very hard when we arrived and we didn’t want to go out. The staff showed us to our rooms and arranged for a table at the hotel restaurant. The food was the best I had in Switzerland. Then the next day at breakfast the food was once again delicious and varied. Our room was small but fun and there weren’t many other rooms sharing the communal bathroom The biggest perk was the spa! The pool was warm, and the hot tub even warmer and more comfortable. It was a great perk we didn’t expect.

I highly recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, good spa, great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant in the hotel(we need to pay for dinner).

I had an enjoyable stay for one night

Great location and easy access to skiing via buses to mountains. Ambiance was amazing and they picked us up from the train station Staff was excellent Dario showed us around right from check in and Mira was so helpful during our stay. They even provided ice bags for a leg injury and non allergenic pillow w sleeping. Breakfast was great!!!

Had to share a bathroom and was paying 200 plus a night

This hotel is simply the best. The room was terrific... quiet, clean, homey. The staff made me feel welcome and valued.The parlor was a warm, quiet and comfortable place to read. They had fresh crisp apples out every day in parlor and hallways. I loved the big metal room keys and all of the historic touches. Plus they provide Engadine Pass free! That was a huge plus.

A very lovely and comprehensive hotel with great service and amenities but stairs only, no lifts.

This hotel was so cute! Everyone was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. Robes were an added bonus. The room was cute and clean. And the food, both our dinner and the breakfast in the morning was delicious! Highly recommend!

Beatiful hotel, friendly staff. The hotel is well situated and when I was there, the tourist tax gave me use of local bus, train and cable cars. The breakfast buffet was lovely.

Loved my “attic” room with original wood beams going in all directions. Windows that open right up for fresh air, and wonderful breakfast. The dinner menu and dining room are delightful!

Comfortable, clean and lovely property. We were able to use the pool and spa of the hotel Walther since they are owned by the same family. We had breakfast included which was very useful before long hikes.

This is place is extremely beautiful with the best staff and service.highly recommendable!

This hotel is not suitable for people over 6 feet tall.

Great place to stay only wish I had planned for more time touring the area other than making the train transfer from Glacier Express to Bernina Express. I will return to spend more time here.
