I like everything from the location, cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the free water refill is a bonus point. It might be quite hard to spot the hotel name at first, but thankfully there is a blue car with “Dorsett” name on it, so we found it. I would love to stay here again next time in Melbourne.

Had a great stay here! The staff welcomed me really well! They gave me early check-in for my birthday complimentary! Room was larger than what I expected (this because of the birthday complimentary too!) All great! I really enjoyed staying here & I’ll definitely come back staying here again!

Dorset Melbourne is amazing. I give this hotel 5 stars. The room is big, very super clean, and very super comfortable.

Room is way more spacious than I expected, pretty lobby and decor. Located near restaurants and tram station, overall was a very pleasant stay!

Stayed there for 5 nights, they did not change the bed covers, the sheets and not even vacuum the carpet. Location is near restaurant and shopping center which is the best. Staffs are friendly.

The location is strategic, close to the train station and free tram rides to get around Melbourne. Recommended!

Chose this hotel as it was easy to get to the Southern Cross station and in the city area. We were greeted by Suji who checked us in as we arrived late at night. She was very friendly and helpful in explaining how to use the wooden access room card (1st time seeing it!). There was a $100 deposit for our stay. Our room was quite spacious and there was more than enough space to open up our 2 large luggages. Closet was a little small, I wish they had a bit more hangers. Bathroom was not too cramped, hot and cold showers worked well. Bed was firm with plenty of pillows. Housekeeping cleaned our room on alternate days and it was always clean and tidy when we returned to our room at night.

Brand new hotel in a strategic location at the CBD area, close to a supermarket, factory outlet, tram stop, and train station. The room was spacious and clean, will stay here for the next trip.

Hotel is nice and clean, the location very strategic. Only 5min walk from skybus station, and 12min walk to queen victoria market.

Room is modern design. Counter service & luggage support was not good. We were waiting for more than 3 hours to get a room. They didn't contact us or tell us for room available until we come and complain. After get in a room for more than one hour, luggage 's had not arrived yet. We have to go down to ask them for our luggage. Room phone was not working. We stay there for three nights. The room serves was terrible. Did not clean bathrooms and toilet, marks on toilet was from previous day still there. All towels leave on floor didn't clean up and others. Not recommended.

The room is ok though. Only the view is closed by all the buildings. So it's dark by default.
