The room was beyond basic! No where to hang clothes. No bed side lights, so dark when getting in/out of bed. Bed up against the wall, so one person has to climb over the other or crawl out the end of the bed. Walls paper thin so it sounded like people in the next room were in our room. Would never ever stay here again.

Nice place lovely people and close to Piece hall

Great location for The Piece Hall. Staff really accommodating, car park was full so Jackie moved her car to allow us to park. Room was more than adequate and had everything we needed. Would stay again if in Halifax.

Limited parking ,comfortable cozy room there was a bit of a bad odour in the corridor outside the room no where to hang clothes, and shared bathroom but only staying overnight ,clean enough Ideal location when i go to gigs at The Piece Hall only a 5 minute walk away and only a 5 minute walk from the shops ,you let yourself in with a secure code.

One room was ok but other was filled with flies. Had to book an alternative at 22:30.

Noisy in the very early hours of the morning. People snoring in the other rooms or even moving in the bed was disturbing and squeaky. Was only using it for a very few hours to sleep but it didn't serve the purpose. The landlady is very nice but being nice doesn't mean you get what you need as a basic place to rest

Staff member was very helpful Parking was great. Very central Room was clean Loo was down the hall

I use the old post office on short stays, it's reasonably priced, comfortable beds, clean and tidy and a short walk to the centre i would recommend

Very basic clean single room, good comfortable single bed. Small television boasting a few Freeview channels. Electric kettle, cup and drinking glass provided together with coffee, tea, milk sachets Very thin walls, you'll hear all that's happening in the adjoining rooms. Took a shower in the communal bathroom but no hot water! OK as a shelter for ONE night.

Cheap but cheerful, nice clean room with basic refreshments. Suited my needs great for an overnight visit. Staff were very friendly

The Old Post Office is a town centre pub. For a one stay it is adequate. The price was very reasonable.

Tiny room, tv didn’t work, kettle not clean, and it was freezing very thin duvet, loo filthy, wee all over floor, definitely not recommend, thank god it was only one night
