We had a lovely welcome, a very pleasant stay for the stop over night we were there. Clean room with everything you needed. Breakfast selection was good, though would have liked to have the option of a Scottish breakfast to complete the experience.

The perfect spot to spend a night or nights. Ideal location, amazing facility. Historic building which has been painstakingly restored. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there are two lounges to relax in. Off street parking. Close to everything.

Overall a good stay. The check in times are strict, no chance of getting in a touch early. Not many food options around for evening. Breakfast was good. Probably wouldn't choose the shared bathroom option if I had a choice, being on the top floor with bathroom next floor down was a bit of a chore. Secure parking for motorcycle round the back.

A lovely house within walking distance mce of the shops, and amenities. Room was clean and warm. Very nice breakfast. Shared bathroom but this wasn't a problem. Didn't need to queue or anything like that. Lovely friendly owner.

Really beautiful B&B. Host Victoria was very helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. It is a very traditional building, yet has all the modern conveniences you need. Lovely choices for a delicious breakfast. Thank you!

Greenland House is a charming, large detached stone-built bed and breakfast that immediately sets the tone for a warm and relaxing stay. The property embraces a distinctive Highland theme throughout, with each room thoughtfully named after Scottish clans and decorated with tasteful tartan soft furnishings that add character without feeling overdone. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome, creating a comfortable and friendly atmosphere right from the start. The rooms were well-appointed and had everything you’d expect, including tea and coffee-making facilities, making it easy to settle in and unwind. One of the standout features is its fantastic location—just a two-minute drive from the stunning Dunnett Beach, which is well worth a visit for its sweeping sands and beautiful coastal views. A wide choice of cooked or continental breakfast was on offer and off road parking available. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The combination of a welcoming host, comfortable accommodation, and a great location made it an easy choice for us—we would definitely return

Stayed one night as was in Thurso for work. Beautifully decorated old building. Entire place was absolutely emaculate. Two stunning lounge areas which wouldnt look out of place in a palace. Loads of books, great sofas. Bed very comfy (loved the clan bedspread, excellent touch), sink in the room too which was a pleasant bonus (booked shared bathroom) Bit of an old-school toilet, as you'd expect, so be careful there. Very peaceful place, had a great night sleep. Breakfast great, the options are really extensive - set me up perfectly for a long journey onwards Host was lovely, attentive, but not overbearing - can tell she takes pride in what she does. Honestly couldn't really pick out a single fault with my stay. Would definitely book again and would highly recommend.

Firstly the staff (owner) was amazing, she was very kind and communicative. We booked the room with a “private” bathroom detached, which didn’t have a key to it and really would be able to be accessed by anyone, so I say private loosely. The mattress was incredibly firm and the pillows were like sleeping with a folded up sheet. I will say the breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. And the ease of driving to the ferry in Scrabster was nice/convenient

Great location for us seeing the north of Scotland. Some of the most amazing views in Scotland and the northern most beach in the UK. Victoria was the perfect host.
